Two weeks have passed since I found out about my dad going to Oklahoma City. I haven't been all that... out much. But today, my brothers thought it would be nice to take me out. We were in riding in the souped up Plymouth, the same one that they used to take me out of the Hospital. I was laying down in the back seat, watching the scenery pass by.
"Okay, your stop, Angel" Austin chirped. I sat up and looked out the window. Thes DX?
"Um, why are we here?" Tony got out and opened my door. I go out of the car and examined the gas station. Steve and Soda were here, filling cars up. I'm guessing they work here.
"You're going to work here from now on, so good luck!" Before I had a chance to say something, Tony jumped into the driver's seat, and sped off. Well then, I guess I have no choice.
"Angelica!" I turned around, seeing Soda waving at me. I sighed and walked over to him and Steve.
"H-hey" I shyly greeted. They both looked at me, Soda had a smile on his face.
"Welcome to the DX family! Your uniform is inside" Soda informed me.
"Thanks" I replied. They started leading me to the shop. "So, what will I be doing?"
"Well, you can help out with filling up cars" Steve said.
"Sounds good" I responded. "Wonder how long it will take until I screw things up" I mumbled to myself. I'm guessing the guys heard, since they both chuckled softly. I found the Uniform under the counter. It was only a button up shirt that had 'DX' written in the top right corner. I left it unbuttoned, since I had a white undershirt on. It looks better this way. I had on blue skinny jeans with my favorite black and white converse.
Right now, I'm just hoping everything turns out alright. I really want to get on the gang's good side, so I've go to try. With that in my mind, I walked outside, ready for my first customer. It was warm out here, the sun was shining down on me.
"Hey Angel, can you help carry boxes?" I turned to Soda and nodded.
"Sure." He led me over to the stack of boxes near an old looking car. I picked up a box, almost dropping it from how heavy it was. "Where do I take them?"
"Into the shop" Soda replied. I did was told, and was almost done, when a car stopped in the parking lot. Since Soda was free, I continued carrying the heavy ass boxes over to the shop. Suddenly, I heard my name being called.
"Angelica!" I turned, coming face to face with Jake. Oh no. He looked upset. "What the fuck, Angel?!" He grabbed my wrist, gripping it tightly. A little too tight.
"Ow! Let me go!" I tried pulling my arm away from him, but he only pulled me closer.
"You're with Bob now?!"
"What does it matter to you?" I finally pried my wrist free, and stepped back.
"You're still mine, and I don't want you whoring around with some other guys!" he yelled in my face. I was taken back. A whore? He just called me a whore. I frowned at that.
"Excuse me? I'm not a whore!" He suddenly grabbed my arm and began pulling me away from the gas station, and over to his car. "Let me go!"
"Hey!" Jake stopped and turned around, as did I. Soda was walking up to us with Steve by his side. "Is there a problem here?"
"Who are you?"
"I'm Soda, her boyfriend" he said. That surprised me. He's my what?! There's no way that's believable. Jake looked angered by this, and just left. Soda and Steve high fived and laughed about what just happened there. "I knew that would work!"
