One Ride

All it takes is one ride.
A ride that could possibly change everything.
But that is the ride I cried.
A single tear out of nothing.

We called ourselves forever.
Yet, we never been the end game.
Since you've started the engine.
Nothing's stays the same.

I remembered that one ride.
Into no where we go.
That day was filled with laughter
And love did start to grow.

Every ride we've been was an exceptional one.
You, held the wheel like you've held my heart.
Along the road we shared thoughts and had some fun.
That was when I felt the end yet we're still at the start.

I never wanted to forget
About the words you utter.
I thought everything was set
Yet our lives are shattered.

Daily prayer was to hold on tight
My heart's beating fast by your driving site
I might die and ran out of fright
But, I love you and held on tonight.

The moon shines so bright.
The stars were at their twinkling light.
But your smile never shown that much spirit
Ignored me and listened to the cricket.

The cricket told you to pull by the side
Along the dark road of tagaytay drive.
That was when I noticed that you were different.
The person I've known was gone and tainted.

A loud bang I heard
And everything was a blur
Smoke coming out, what in the world?!
Then, came fire and explosion that put me to slur.

All I remembered was my burning soul.
Not in satan's den but in your hand at all.
I wished to get out your fiery grasp.
I can't breathe, my hands are within your clasp.

Now's the end of my story
You're still within me.
That accident was a long time ago.
I'm resting in peace.
A story sounded from above down low.
