Chapter One: My Soulmate

*Tylers POV*

"Aw look! Another cute fan edit!" Troye exclaimed as he looked into my eyes from across the room. "They always make the cutest edits" Troye continued. "Agreed. I love a good montage" I replied with a grin on my face. "If only they knew the ship has sailed" Troye said as he giggled and looked back down at his laptop to continue scrolling the 'Troyler' tag on Tumblr. I took this opportunity to look at Troye. To really look at him. To appreciate him. "Wow!" I thought to himself. "How did i manage to get so lucky?" My previous relationships were a total mess. I was played, abused, emotionally and physically hurt. I wondered if I would ever find love again. Just looking at Troye makes me believe in love, true love. He is my soulmate and i wouldn't trade being with him for the world. 

"Come on!" I said as I sprung up from the couch holding my hand out. "Let's make dinner." "But Tilly I'm too lazy" Troye replied with a cheeky look on his face. "Get the fuck up Troye Sivan!" exclaimed Tyler through fits of giggles as he watched Troye lay in the most awkward position on the couch. "Fineee" Troye shouted as he got up and held onto my hand. We stood there for a minute, not saying anything but just staring into each others eyes. Troye's hand gradually moved up towards my face to touch my cheek and as soon as I thought he was going to kiss me, he grabbed my glasses and put them on being the 5 year old he is. "Weellll hello everyone my name is Tyler and today I'm feeling sassy as fuck" mimicked Troye. "You fucking dork" I replied before we both fell into fits of laughter at the sight of him. "Give me that!" I said pointing to what I think were my glasses. "I can't see shit Troye!!" I burst out. He gently placed the glasses back on my head and gave me a quick kiss before waltzing into the kitchen to make dinner. "Jesus Christ" I said to myself. "He's so fucking adorable."

"Holy shit Troye, the food was incredi-" I was cut off before being able to finish my sentence. Troye's phone rang. It was Connor. Connor Franta was one of my closest friends and also one of Troye's friends too. He recently came out and we all celebrated and supported him with his huge achievement. "Hey buddy, long time no chat!" I hear Troye say to Connor on the phone. I tried not to pry and let Troye have a conversation with his friend. I wasn't the jealous type, but when your across the table from your boyfriend who's on the phone with someone you cant help but hear a thing or two about their conversation. "Let's catch up bud, I haven't seen you in ages" I hear Connor say to Troye through the phone. "Yeah sounds good, what day are you free so that me and Tyl-" Troye got cut off. My ears are drawn to the conversation while I continued to pick at a few vegetables on my plate. "Actually, I was wondering maybe if we could go out one night, just you and me. I haven't seen you in ages and i miss my bestie." I hear Connor say through the phone. Troye looked at me and whispered, "Hey is it okay if I went and got a few drinks with Connor tomorrow night?" My heart suck. "Like just you two or?" "Yeah, he wants to talk to me about a few things privately but don't worry, I won't be home too late." I sighed. "Yeah babe, of course that's fine." I trusted Troye and I trusted Connor. Maybe I'm just overreacting? Maybe Connor just needed some bro time with a mate? I reassured myself. After the phone call with Connor, it ended up being 9pm and we were both too lazy to wash up. "Fuck it, we'll do it in the morning" Troye yawned. I nodded and took his hand while we both walked to the bedroom. The thing I love the most about Troye is that we can just cuddle and it won't lead to sex, we can talk for hours like best friends, and we can be 100% truthful around each other. That's what true love is. It's finding a person that gets you the way you get them. It's being dedicated to that one person. But then again, how do we know if we have even found true love?
