Part 1
In the eastern continent of Ente Isla, under the bright blue sky, lies a small village full of demons.
"Mom!" A demon child called out his mother from outside their home.
"Welcome back, my little Satan." The sweet, smiling mother hugged her son after he had ran all the way from the field to their home.
"Why are you back so early?" She started, "Is your father already done with his work?"
"No, he just sent me home already. I don't know why."
"It must be the humans again." The mother whispered to herself. But she didn't know her child heard her.
"Humans?" He asked.
"Um...it's nothing to worry about, my son." To make sure her son won't worry, she patted him on his head.
The child frowned at her answer.
"What are humans like, mom? I really want to know." Satan pleaded his mom to answer with his cute puppy eyes.
The mother sighed in defeat, knowing she can't refuse to that face.
"Humans are just like us, little Satan." She started, "They have families who they love so much." After she said that, she bear-hugged his son.
"Really?" He asked.
She let go of him then smiled.
"Yes. In fact, we demons aren't different from humans, except the looks."
"Do they have horns like us?" Satan asked.
"Hehehe..no."
"Do they have fangs like us?"
"They also don't have fangs."
"Are they friendly?"
She suddenly changed her expression to a sad one when he asked her that.
"...of course..."
"Do you love them?"
Her eyes widened. She didn't know what to say. But she can't afford to see her son's sad face. So she had to lie again.
"...I love them too..."
"Really?! If my mom loves them then I love them too. I want to meet them!" Satan said excitedly while running around their house.
The mother smiled at her son's smiling face, but became saddened after a short while. She became worried since she knows she can't forever hide the fact that humans aren't like the humans she said to him. He'll find out eventually.
"Come here for a while."
Little Satan followed his mom's order and walked towards her.
