Addictive Love

Chapter one

It was a rather warm fall day in Cortland New York. The date was September 4th. It was in fact my first day of school after a long break. Even though the weather was sunny and nice, I felt sad and a bit miserable. I mean I have to admit, I'm glad that I will be able to see all of my friends but I really don't like school.

My name is Avery Carson. I'm a 16 year old girl. I have blonde highlighted hair and greenish blue eyes. My passion is gymnastics, I have practice every day pretty much, for at least five hours! Crazy right? Well anyways, today I had to ride the bus, and I hate the bus! Last year I would always miss it and sometimes I would be late to school. I would rather walk than ride the bus.

I had just woke up and I couldn't decide on what to wear. Eventually I picked some dark, blue skinny jeans and a white shirt with silver gems on it. It was my favorite outfit at the time. I had to leave for the bus stop around 7:05. Right now it was 6:50 and I still had to put makeup on and eat!

Somehow I managed to catch the bus. I sat with my best friend Becca. She just turned 16 and we are about a month apart. We've known each other since birth. Becca has curly blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Becca and I had been listening to music, which by the way is my stress reliever. Well anyways, the bus pulled into the Cortland Junior Senior High-school.

As we walked into the front doors of the school, I recognized a bunch of people right away. Such as Page, Matt, Peyton and Brandon. Page is the school drama queen who thinks she's the boss of everyone and everything! Matt is a nerd and loves to read. Peyton is a rather shy girl but she's very smart. She just kinda keeps to her self. Brandon is a bully and picks on literally every person who walks into this school.

I went to the cafeteria and sat with Becca, Kenzly and Bella, a few of my closest friends. We talked for about a half hour but before I knew it, the bell rang and it was time to go to homeroom.
