dear diary IT'S SUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEER!!! woohooooo!! finally no school just sun and fun and maybe even a bit of fun in the sun :) i hope it's really sunny so i can wear my new skirt grandma bought for me last month. Me and daddy took shadow for a midnight walk last night and it was amazing. the stars look so pretty and content up in the sky. it's crazy to think they have been there for millions and billions of years, i hope when i go, i am good enough to be a star too that would be cool. well i better go and help make dinner :) talk to you tomorrow. love from, maisy.
(ps. NICK JONAS IS HOT) <3
"MAISY ARE YOU READY DARLING?" my father shouted from the kitchen, although it wasn't really a shouty voice, just a louder version of his calm voice. i hid my diary in it's usual secret spot underneath my bed before running down the stairs and into the kitchen where he stood waiting. "i thought you could take shadow for a walk you know if you wanted to?" "me? just me? like alone?" i gasped, my dad is very protective over me when it comes to me going out anywhere alone i mean just like any other father is over their fifteen year old daughter i suppose. "yes you silly, i'm not that protective am i?" he questioned as he raised his eyebrow at me me sarcastically, knowing full well what the real answer to his question was. "nooo of course not" i returned the sarcasm "yeah i'd love to, thanks dad"
so with that I slipped on my converse grabbed my phone and headphones, and ofcourse my dog then headed out of the door and into the warm summer air. So here i am, shuffling along the pavement with a spring in my step, sun in my eyes, lyrics booming in my ears and a smile across my face. My long brown curls swaying left to right every so often as a slight breeze passes through the air, i can't help but love the freedom. I love my dad and i love spending time with him, he's my best friend but sometimes i like to be alone to take it all in and stuff you know? Like always i took shadow to the park a couple of blocks away from our house, he loves it here, running around in the freshly cut grass like a maniac. "SHADOW" I shouted as he ran off out of my sight. "SHADOW COME BACK" i said again expecting him to come scurrying back to me but he didn't. "i take you out and this is what i get in return heh?" i shouted playfully as he came back into sight, i must not of realized how loudly i was really shouting because i couldn't even hear whoever it was who decided to make there dog run past me knocking me back.
It felt asif life was in slow motion as my legs flung into the air infront of me and my body fell into the comfort of two arms gripping onto me tightly. "I'm so sorry love i didn't think she was gonna come running over like that" i tilted my head and looked up slowly only to be met by two peircing brown eyes staring right back at me, "i um, hi" i stuttered as i wriggled out of the attractive but unfamiliar stranger's arms and standing up. "i can't apologize enough, sorry" he said again. "it's fine" "sorry" "stop saying that" "sorry" "oh dammit" he shook his head getting slightly embarassed, which made me giggle a little. "dude it's not funny i just knocked you over!" he smirked, gaining back the original colour of his cheeks. "don't you think i know that?" i asked between giggles, "yeah dude sorry, again. i'm bradley by the way. not that you wanted to know or anything" he smiled and stuck out his hand for me to shake. "No i did actually" "you did?"
"yeah so it's easier to get a claim" i smirked trying to keep a straight face. "funny girl aren't ya? what's your name?" he asked, "why should i tell you?" i answered back cheekily with another question. "so i know who's name i'm expecting post from" he winked playing along with my joke, "maisy, maisy delenay" he smiled at me continuing to make conversation with me until the sun started to set. "i better get going my dad will wonder where i am" i said jumping up off the grass, checking the time. They were right when they said time flies when your having fun. "um, could i get your number maisy? you know incase your claim gets lost in the post and stuff?" brad smirked cheekily, showing off his dimples. "sure i guess that's a good enough reason, type it in monkey boy" i threw my phone onto his leg making him jump slightly, taking his in return and putting in my name and number before handing it him back, "well ill text ya" i heard his birmigham accent call out from the distance "KAY" I shouted back as i carried on walking.
Once i got home my dad seemed to be a bit worried, well i can't really blame him considering i took the dog for a four hour long walk without calling or texting. "Maise where you been? i was about to get the search party out!" he joked, trying to cover up the genuine worry he had. "sorry i met a friend and lost track of time, my bad sorry" i answered pulling him into an apologetic hug, "its fine baby"
Later that night after taking my phone off charge i noticed i had two new messages, from a certain "really lovely guy i met in the park today" clearly bradley's choice of words, if it was up to me it would really be called "very over apologetic muppet who knocked me over" that's a bit more suitable in my eyes but anyway.
'hey it's brad :) you know that top guy from today? yeahhh i was just seeing you got home okay without any more incidents haha x'
'dude you did get home ok didn't ya? reply or ill get worried x'
I am such a cluts when it comes to texting people back or even texting them in the first place, that's probably one of the reasons why my dad is so protective because i never let him know where i am and stuff, i just turn up out of the blue like it's okay.
'hey yeah sorry my phone died, i got home in one piece thankfully. don't worry your curly little hair x' i responded and within two minutes of putting down my phone i got a reply.
'don't do that man! i have been sat worrying for the last two hours. i couldn't have a police investigation on my plate as well as a claim. nah i'm happy you replied x'
