Monologue

I was happy... no... more than happy.

I have a house; a place that keeps you safe and warm.

I have two loving parents; people who can protect you in their arms.

I have a cute little twin sister; the sweet, pure, and innocent angel in the whole wide Earth.

It's more than enough.

I was happy.

Maybe...

Too happy.

Because of that day...

That is how my despair began.

That is when.... 

I lost everything.

My parents were killed by unknown bandits.

I was kidnapped while leaving my little sister behind, who was crying in fear.

One of the bandits are with her as he raised his weapon towards her.

I don't know what happen...

Even so...

I don't want to say that if it's true.

I don't recall anything else, but...

I remember that I somehow manage to escape.

As I collapsed on the cold grassy floor...

My tiny eyes felt sleepy as I shut them out...

to the entire world.

As I opened my eyes...

That is when I met that man.

The one that saved me and...

my little sister.

He told me everything...

About those unknown bandits...

Why my parents are killed...

Why they're after my sister and I...

Everything that he knows...

With a small wound on his finger,

I was 'sealed' for a reason.

I took his hand and took a vow to myself.

I vow to take revenge on the person who seeks for my sister and I.

Until then...

I will become a ninja...

To help this man...

His comrades...

And in order to do such thing,

I must protect those that are dear to me as well.

Now...

This is how our story began.

Whatever path my little twin sister decides,

no matter what...

I shall follow with her till the end.
