Dan and Amanda: a love story

First date

I was sitting in my room, thinking if I should ask Amanda on a date. Later on I heard her calling saying that it was lunch time. I rushed down the stairs to see Phil already wolfing down his plate and asking for more. That's Phil. I looked at Amanda and she was already staring at me. We stared into each other eyes. Her eyes were a beautiful shade of lavender, now they are a beautiful shade of orchid. 

I sat down and ate. I looked up and said "Amanda can we talk in private?" Phil looked up from his plate, smiled, then went back to his plate. Amanda looked kinda puzzled but she said sure like it was a question. I led her to my room. "Amanda I want to know....if you will go on a date with me. I know this is sudden but I really like you." I said then smiled awkwardly. Amanda's replie was " Of course Dan!" She said that with love and genuine. She put her arms around me and kissed me. I was the happiest man on earth. She pushed away and said " Tommorow night?" I said sure and we went downstairs holding hands. Phil looked up and stared at us like " What the hell is going on?" We just smiled and sat down and ate. 

After lunch I went to the store to get a new computer. Phil poured coffee on my last one. I picked my computer and went to pay. When I went out the store, I saw Amanda walking to the grocery store. I called out her name and waved. She waved back. I walked back to my Chevy and got in. I drove off.

I got back to the house and started on my new YouTube video. After I finished I went downstairs for a snack. I saw Amanda there. Her eyes were now Ameythest. Her dark wavy hair was perfect for her. She turned around and smiled. "Midnight snack?" She asked. I didn't know what to say. I looked outside the window and realized that it was dark already turning a morning color. I answered back to Amanda "Yep" and got my snack. I ate  it and  went to bed.

The next morning I was kinda nervous. I don't want to mess up our date. I got dressed and went down for breakfast. I asked Phil where Amanda was and he said she left to work already. I sat down and ate. I got up, put my plate in the sink, grabbed my coat, and went into my Chevy and drove to look at a restaurant. When I got there Amanda texted me asking what kind of outfit should she wear. I replied "Well whatever you like!" And I got reservations for us. I got home and got dressed more nicely. When I went downstairs Amanda was there dressed beautifully. She had a navy blue shirt with the words 'Love Forever' on it. She was wearing black pants with blueberry shoes.  I looked into her eyes and saw that they were blue . I asked "Why do your eyes change colors?" "It's a normal thing for me. It runs in my family." She said back.

We hit in my Chevy and drove off. When we got there I asked for the reservations and we got seated. We got our menus and ordered. Amanda got spinach and cheese ravioli with a ceaser salad. I got a steak with mashed potatoes and some veggies. While we sat side by side,  we talked and laughed. While she wasn't looking I kissed her cheek. She smiled and went back to eating. 

When we finished I payed and we left. When we got home it was 10 pm already. Phil had gone to sleep so we were the only ones awake in the house. I took Amanda by the waist and stared into her lime green eyes. I leaned in and kissed her. We got serious then Phil game down. We didn't notice him till he gasped so loud the neighbors complained. We quickly pushed away. I saw Amanda blushing and hiding her face. I took her hand and said "Me and Amanda are dating Phil." After that I shot him an annoyed look. He understood the look and went back to his room. Amanda made me follow her to the sofa. She said "Dan we need to talk." I was scared. No man would like to hear their girlfriend say the words " We need to talk". It meant bad news.
