I hear the slam of the door as I set typing. I look up and there he is. His brown hair falling over his eye... As he looks at me smiling and sets down next to me. " what's up butter cup" he whispers in my ear as he kisses my cheek. I slowly push him away."not in public my dad could find out" I mumble. he runs his hand down my leg I smile softly.
" let's just go to my place" he whispers in my ear
"NO!!what happened last night will never happen again. I'm not like u"I blurt out then lower my voice and I take a sip of water
"what not gay?? huh? u sure seemed to like it last night!!" I choke on my water as he stands up and yells.
"please Keegan set down people are starring" I tug at his arm.
he gets a enraged look on his face and he pulls his arm away knocking me off balance and pulling me to the floor.
He immediately drops to the floor and wraps his arms around me.
"I'm so sorry Connor!"
Without thinking I just pull away from him and scream
"leave me alone I never want to see u again!"
I storm out forgetting my laptop. I turn around and see him setting where I left him. He looks devastated..I can't go back in there. Forget my laptop I can just have my dad buy me a new one.
He looks up and I turn around and start walking away I hear the door of the coffee shop open. I shrug it off then keep walking. I can see my house for the coffee shop. The sun glistening off the white siding. I decide to just run. I stop and take a deep breath,then take off running.
I'm breathing heavily. so about five feet from my house I stop running and just walk. My legs are aching all most to much to even walk. I really need to work out more. I open the door and drop my bag.
"MOM I'M HOME"
silence.
complete silence.
"mom???"
nothing...
I sigh and set on the couch. maybe she's at work.
forty five minutes later I wake up to the house phone ringing. I slowly get up off the couch and walk to the phone.
unknown number. "I wonder who it is"
I answer.
as soon as I answer the person on the other line says
"yes hello Daniel we need u to come to the emergency room ur wife has been in a wreck"
shocked and barely able to answer I softly say.
"this is Connor Daniels and Ashley's son. my dad isn't here right now,can I just come in?"
"oh sir I'm sorry yes,come in we'll get ahold of ur dad"
I don't even reply I just hang up and grab my phone and keys and runs to the car and drive to the hospital barely stopping the car when I jump out and run in to the front desk getting my moms room number.
"450"
the secretary says with out looking up from her computer.
I run as fast as I can to her room and run through the door and all I see is my dad beside my moms bed holding her hand and crying. the sound of slow beeps and the I.v is nauseating.
