"Is it just me or was Mr. Stan really boring today?" Gigi asked taking Parker away from her thoughts.
"What? Oh yeah. He wasn't his usual self." Parker said not sure whether or not Gigi even asked her anything or not.
"You okay Parker? You seem pretty out of it today." Gigi's face twisted in confusion.
"I'm fine. Just a little tired from studying for that stupid Math test today I guess. " Parker said putting on her best poker face.
The truth of the matter was that Parker stayed up all night drawing in her notebook and spent the whole class day dreaming about Klim. Klim was and extremely good looking senior who was from Germany. Since he is a senior and Parker is just now beginning high school she can't even have debs on him. Even hearing his naming made her melt.
"Are you even listening!?" Gigi hissed.
"I'm sorry Gi I guess I'm just not myself right now."
"It's fine I understand. It reads all over your face anyway." Gigi sighed
"What!??!" I yelped. Gigi can't know I like a BOY. Especially if that boy is her sisters boyfriend!
"You were whispering Klim the whole" Gigi said as if it were nothing.
"I-I how did you know?" I stammered out.
Gigi scoffed as she stopped in front of her locker and said very Boldly "what girl doesn't think he's dreamy?"
Until Gigi opened her locker Parker had forgotten they were even in the hallway. Parker stood in amazement and stared at her best friend. "You mean you like your sisters boyfriend too?"
"Ha! I'm stupid not crazy Parker"
"Aren't they pretty much the same thing?" Parker asked happy to move subjects.
"Not really." Gigi stated ever so confident.
Gigi and Parker had been best friends since 3rd grade when they moved to London same summer. Everyone else in the grade had already budded off as they used to say. Plus both girls had to much in common they were going to be friends anyway. Both girls moved to London from America but had picked up an accent since being in London.
Unlike Parker Gigi had siblings who constantly fought. Gigi's house was always full of noise while Parker was usually home alone. Both of Parker's parents worked out of town so Parker was often home alone during the week and at Gigi's on weekends.
"You wanna see a movie with me and Chris this weekend? Chris said he had a mate that you would like." Gigi bounced as they walked to Parker's car. Gigi was always excited when Chris came to town and constantly tried to set her up with one of his friends.
"Oh Gi you know I like books better than movies." Parker said as they both walked past "the Dixies".
"Come on Parker! If you say no then my mom will have to come with us!" Gigi begged. She actually out her hands together and stuck out her bottom lip and widened her eyes.
Parker couldn't believe how far her best friend was taking this. "Alright fine. Ill do it."
"Yeeeeeyyyyy!!!! Oh Park you are amazing!!!" Gigi squealed and she threw her arms around Parker.
"Okay okay hahaha I can see this made you happy." Parker laughed as they finally reached her car.
