It has been exactly four months since she had told Kylo that she was pregnant with his child. After being married to him about five months, and she has to say, even though she doesn't see him as much as she'd like to, she has fallen in love with the man, it took her a little time to warm up to the dark man, cloaked in robes. But, it happened.

He was off nearly every day, he would be gone for so long and sometimes when he came back, he'd be exhausted and wanting to sleep, other times, he'd be angry and slash at walls before collapsing in exhaustion on her, then he would tell her about his day, how bad it was.

All she would do was run her fingers through her hair and hold him close and listen to him, they would stay like this for a very long time until he would get too tired to stay upright and would request her to come to bed with him.

Well, one night was rather different. He had finally gotten what he was looking for, and he wanted to celebrate, which is why they laid together and why she had a child inside of her.

Kylo, hadn't been around for quite some time and she was going through this alone and regretfully admitting that she missed him, wishing that he'd be here so she could tell him.

The day she got him alone, was a rather good day. Only because she didn't fear what he would do if he didn't want to raise a child with her, it was his fault. He did chose her for his wife.

~Two months Pregnant~

Kila was waiting by the hanger where his ship was because she knew he was going to leave today, and she was going to tell him before he went. She might not get a chance after that... every time he went out, she might never get another chance to tell him.

And soon, she saw him walking down the hall, donned in his black clothing and mask, hell, he practically walked past her without even noticing that she was there. So, Kila stood up quickly and snagged onto his elbow to make him stop, "Kylo." She had to remind herself that she wasn't here to accuse him of not being there, she was just here to tell him and then let him be on his way.

The tall man stopped in his tracks before turning around to face her, she hated it when she couldn't see his eyes, his face... it was like she didn't even know what he was thinking, and it was rather disturbing, "Kila, what is it you need to tell me?" He asked in his disoriented voice, plain and without emotion. It was the voice that has first made her frightened of him and what he could do, but seeing him without it on was what made her not feel so afraid.

"Uh..." she was now a tad hesitant as she realised that he might take this the wrong way, so, her hand reached forward and took his gloved one, not meeting his eyes and looking at the ground instead, "I need to tell you something..." Kila trailed off and then but on her bottom lip, it shouldn't be this hard to force two words out to him.

But it wasn't saying it, it was the realisation of it and how he would take it, that's why she didn't know how to force them out.

"Kila, make it quick. I have to go soon." He told her, still looking at the woman he married through the mask, his eyes narrowing slightly as he wondered what she had to tell him, and she continued to be silent, unsure if she should tell him right now, there's no backing out.

It was now or never, he wouldn't ever know he was going to have a child if he died today, so, she had to blurt it out, "I'm pregnant!" A furious blush quickly covered her white cheeks as she looked down at the ground, feeling his gaze rest upon her, but not knowing if it was a good kind.

Well, the silence was very thick between them and she wasn't sure if he had walked away, but the hand she was still holding, told her different. Maybe he was just processing-

"Okay..." And he sounded a bit stumped at what she had told him, he didn't sound excited, he didn't sound upset, he just sounded like he didn't know if she was telling the truth or not. Hell, it was better than getting upset over it.

And it was better to not prolong it any longer than needed, so, Kila gave the tall man and hug, feeling relief wash over her body before she pulled away and gave him a soft smile, "I will see you." She told him, or... at least she hoped that she'd see Kylo again.

What he did was dangerous, and there was always some one more powerful than him out there. She just didn't want to raise this child without him, it wasn't like he would know what to do... so they'd just have to help each other through it.

~Six months Pregnant - Present Time~

Kila half laid on the bed, looking out the window of the Starkiller base and watching as the ships flew around, watched the snow falling and caught an occasional glance of some animals in the line of the trees. It was rather peaceful here, the snow and the cold was definitely a change, but it was a good change, a change she enjoyed.

Kila smiled as she glanced down at her still growing stomach and rubbed over it some more, as if she was soothing her child. He had been a bit restless, kicking often and making her very hungry all the time.

She couldn't wait until he popped out, and yeah, she was fairly sure that it was a boy. Or, at least that's what she wanted... Kila had already picked out a couple names for her and the child. Dustin, Ivon, Sero... that was all she had for the boy's name.

She also liked the name Cecilia for a girl, if it was a girl.

The woman bit her lip when she felt the baby kick her a couple of times, almost as if he was urging her to get up and walk around, "Alright, alright, mommy's getting up." She hummed softly as she sat up fully and then swung her legs to the side before she stood up and placed a hand on her stomach, "What do you say we go find your daddy?" She asked, patting her stomach lightly as she left the room, she was going to find him either way.

There was something very important she had to talk to him about, the fact that he hadn't been recognising that her stomach was growing and every time she tried to talk about baby stuff, he would just shrug her off.

It was getting irritating and Kila needed him to start helping her.

Soon enough, the woman was able to find her husband, talking to General Hux about something that didn't matter right now, she was going to pull Kylo away and make him-

"Kylo Ren!" It was almost a shout, but she couldn't help herself. She was now very angry as all the thoughts of him brushing her off came to surface, he wasn't wearing his helmet for some odd reason; but the moment he turned to her, his eyes were drawn to her stomach and a look of surprise crossed his features as he couldn't help but just stare.

"You are going to be a father, Kylo. You can't just keep putting this off or pretending like it isn't real. And I can't do this by myself, I need your help. I need my husband's help." Then she took his hand again, the shock still in his eyes as he allowed her to guide his hand to her stomach, right where her baby had been kicking her, and she just held his hand there, her eyes now softening as she watched his reaction to when the baby kicked her, kicked his hand.

He just watched her stomach with fascination as he brought his other hand up and set it gently on top of her stomach, "Our baby?" He whispered, as if he was trying to get a hold of himself, but it wasn't working, it was now coming down on him that he was going to have a child to help raise.

"Our baby." Kila repeated as she set her hands on top of his, a smile coming to her face as she saw the realization, and in that moment, every thing was okay.
