Home part 2: Gifts/Nightlight leaves

Ok so I thought about it for a minute and knew what I was gonna do in this chapter. Nightlight leaves the Lookout and Shadow is devastated about it...but there's a twist to the character...so ENJOY!!!

Chase P.O.V

I woke up late...which is unusual for me since I'm always up first. But I saw the pups talking (exept for everyone's pups). I walked over and asked "So what are we talking about?"    "We've decided Nightlight has to STAY. Shadow loves her. But I don't know when we should tell her." Emily said. I agreed but I looked over to Shadow and saw his ears were down so I went to check on him. As I got closer I saw he was crying. "Hey Shadow. You ok?" I asked. He looked at me and angerly said "NO!! I'M NOT! NIGHTLIGHT LEFT THE LOOKOUT EARLIER. I WAS GONNA GO WITH HER BUT SHE SAID "I'm doing this for your own good."  WHY DIDN'T YOU ACCEPT HER?! SHE WAS HAPPY WITH US!! AND YOU ALL DIDN'T TRUST HER! I'M GOING OFF TO FIND HER!  AND DON'T TRY AND CHANGE MY MIND!! I LOVE HER AND I WILL NOT REST UNTIL I FIND HER!!!!"    I was shocked. Not just at Shadow's tone of voice, but at his determination to find Nightlight. I looked at him and he was leaving the Lookout to find her. "We heard everything." A voice said. I looked back to see all the pups were behind me. "Let him go." Zuma said.

Shadow P.O.V

I ran down a path I saw Nightlight run down. I neared a small cave and saw Nightlight...or at least I think I did. "Nightlight!!" I yelled. She looked at me and said "I thought the others didn't like me!" I stood up for her at told her to come back with me. She did and I saw Marshall coming towards me so I told Nightlight to hide. She did just as Marshall came closer. "Dude you know we all agreed Nightlight could stay. We saw how much you loved her..so we said she could stay...as long as she was cool with it." Marshall said. Just as Marshall said that Nightlight jumped out from her hiding spot and tackled Marshall while saying "THANK YOU!!!" Marshall got back up as soon as Nightlight walked back to me. She rubbed her head against me making blush like mad. We walked in the Lookout to tell the pups something. "Nightlight and I are dating!" I said shocking everyone. "Congrats dude." Zuma said. I smiled. "Yeah! You two are SO cute together!" Everest said. Nightlightand I both ran to Ryder to tell him. Apparently he had something he wanted all of us to know. We waited until about noon to tell him.

(still Shadow P.O.V)

We ran to Ryder's room to tell him about me and Nightlight dating. "Nightlight and I are dating." I said. Ryder dropped his pup pad. I chuckled. "Well just wait till next Tuesday. You all will be surprised on what I announce." Ryder said. I was confused. But I went to play soccer with the other pups so I could clear my head. As the sun began to set I walked to home(my dads house) I got in my bed and made some room so Nightlight could lay down as well. "Sleep well Nightlight." I said. "You to my love." Nightlight responded. I blushed a little and.....slowly ......went to......sleep...zzzzzzzz.

Ryder P.O.V 

Katie got a new game for the pups. I looked at the label and saw "Mortal kombat x" I thought for a second and put it in the Xbox-One that was by our door step. Weird right?? I set up everything the pups needed to start gaming. "Now that I've finished that I can-" I started before my pup pad rang. It was a text from....Katie!! I stared at the message she sent. It said "If I asked you out what would you do??" I sent her these three words " I'd say....YES!!" I like Katie more than anyone else I've met. So obviously I'm going to say yes. "I wonder how she's taking this?" I thought.

Katie P.O.V

I was happier than happy that I'm dating Ryder!! I mean he's leading a team of pups who protect us. He's perfect! I turned off everything in my clinic and went to sleep.
