I was still walking home from school when I noticed it was getting dark, mom should be getting home soon...wait I left Sao's three hours ago?! I thought checking the time, this always happens when I don't take my pills now I can't go to Jessica's house. I bent down tied my shoe and took off running full speed to get home on time, when suddenly Bam! I was on the floor slightly dazed from impact I looked up at my neighbor Chase Samuels. He grinned down at me "You ok Molly-folly ?" Great just what I need my old childhood nickname making a hitting comeback. I got up and said "Damn it Chase I told you not to call me that." He put his arm around my waist and made a pouty face, "But I thought you liked my nickname for you baby!" In his voice that never failed to annoy me. "Shut up already,did you see my mom's car pass by?" "Matter of fact I did..." He looked around pointlessly. "So when did you see it?" I asked annoyed. "This morning when she left for work." He smiled his goofy grin and laughed. "Haha very funny, thanks for nothing moron." I said pushing him away. "Wait baby don't go I was just playing," he started to pout again. " Molly I really didn't see her car." I looked back at him and saw that sneaky smile creep up and rest on his mouth. "No no no I'm not doing that Chase, absolutely not." "Come on baby it's just one little kiss." "No." "Please baby please?" I rolled my eyes and said "Fine" I walked back over to him leaned up an gave him a kiss. When we finished he had his stupid grin on his face. I waved bye to Chase and took off running to my house not that it was that far away. I quickly unlocked the front door and rushed into the house "Mom I'm home!" I shouted... No response "Mom?" I guess she's not home yet. Now I need to take my pills. I set down my backpack by the front door and went into the kitchen to get my pills. I got out the pill bottle and opened it only to find one sad little pill left. What I thought I had more than this I guess I'll have to go to get more tomorrow hm I wonder if Chase will come too I'll call him later to see. I sat down and got a book from the shelf and started to read.A few minutes later the phone started ringing I quickly got up and grabbed the phone "Hello this is Molly may I ask who's calling?" " Is this Molly Greene?" " Yes" " Hi this is Salty Hospital we're calling about your mom she was in a car accident she is currently in critical care and in surgery...will you be able to come to the hospital?" I couldn't answer, I just couldn't find the words to talk " Mam are you okay?" " Yes I'll be there soon." I hung up the phone and dropped it... Then I screamed, and screamed,and screamed...I fell to the floor and screamed again then I cried, and my crying turned into sobbing. After a while of just sitting there I got up and grabbed my cell phone and walked out of the house to Chase's and knocked on the door. He answered and I just looked at him and then my legs gave out ,he caught me and said " What's wrong!? Are you okay?! What happened?! " " My mom was in an accident and now she's in surgery ... Can you drive me to the hospital... Chase..." " Of course baby...let me get my keys." Chase got his keys and we got in the car. We got there and as we sat in the waiting room I held on tight to Chase and cried into his jacket. He held me tight and stroked my hair. A while later a Doctor came out and said,"Are you Molly Greene?" I looked at the doctor "...yes.." I replied weakly he held out his hand to me I took it and shook. " I'm Doctor Smith, I am very sorry to tell you but your mom is now comatose,and she has a very low chance of waking up, so you might want to pull the plug soon." I stared up and then everything went black.
