Welcome To New York

Maine have always wanted to go back to New York but there are three reasons why she always held back. One, her parents did not let her for a reason she still doesn't know. Two, she promised herself that the next time she would be in New York, she would be with someone special and third, she's afraid. She's scared to remember every single detail that happened to that place. She's afraid that she's not ready to face anyone yet.

But this time it's different, she was with RJ. She has never been so sure of anything but RJ. She knew she's ready. Whatever happened in the past, would be on the past 'cause from that day on RJ was her present and her future.

About 3pm in New York time when the plane landed. They took a cab and went to The Plaza Hotel where RJ already have them reserved.

"Reservation for Mr. and Mrs. Faulkerson please"

RJ said and smiled. He thinks he'll never get used to saying "mrs. faulkerson" so he looked at Maine and wiggled his eyebrows.

Maine playfully laughed and hit RJ on his shoulders as a response.

"That would be room 703 sir just take the elevator to the left and press 1 on your telephone whenever you need something. Here are your keys sir"

The attendant said habang inaabot kay Alden yung mga susi. Kinuha naman 'to ni Alden and said "thanks"

Binuhat na ulit ni Alden ang mga bagahe nila ni Maine at dumiretso na sa elevator.

"Uy di ka ba nabibigatan? Pwede naman akong tumulong eh"

Maine said with a concerned voice. She feels guilty dahil tatlo sa apat nilang maleta ang kanya.

"Wag na, sayang naman ang pagwoworkout ko kung di ko rin kaya to no. Look at the muscles, love. Just look at that"

Buong pagmamalaki ni Alden ng muscles niya. Nagpopose pa ito sa elevator na pinapakita ang biceps niya.

"Muscles ba yan? Taba yan love, taba. Malaki lang braso mo, uy"

Pang-aasar naman ni Maine. Alden pouted at tumahimik na bigla.

Pinindot na ni Alden yung number 7 kung saang floor sila nakacheck in. Tahimik lang silang dalawa habang nasa elevator, umabot ito hanggang makarating sila sa 7th floor at naglakad na habang hinahanap ang room nila.

Maine couldn't take the silence anymore so she poked RJ on his cheeks.

"Uy RJ, galit ka?"

Pero hindi siya pinansin ni Alden. Tuloy tuloy lang ito sa paglalakad habang nakapoker face.

"RJJJJJ, pansinin mo naman ako" Maine said habang tinutusok tusok yung tagiliran niya na parang batang nangungulit.

Tuloy tuloy pa rin sila sa paghahanap nila ng room. Tumigil sa paglalakad si Alden sa tapat ng isang kwarto na may nakalagay na Rm 703.

Binuksan ni Alden ang pinto at pumasok ng hindi pa rin pinapansin si Maine.

Naunang pumasok si Alden sa kwarto nila, iniwan ang mga bagahe nila sa gilid at umupo sa sofa.

The place was beautiful, as Maine thought. It was a classy room that is fitted for a king and queen but she couldn't appreciate it that much knowing that Alden was not talking to her.

Sumunod na siya sa pagpasok ng kwarto. She quickly closed the door and went straight to where RJ is.

RJ was quietly sitting on the sofa. His head laid back and his eyes closed.

Maine poked his cheek.

"Uy tisoy kausapin mo na 'ko eto naman ehh"

"Uy gwapo gwapo niyang love ko oh, sige na smile na. I wanna see your dimples"

Sinubukan ni Maine na magpacute. It has always worked with RJ. Pero himalang kaya pa siyang tiisin ni RJ ngayon.

"Uy tisoy kasi naman eh, joke lng naman eh. Macho ka kaya"

Alden opened his eyes.

"No, you said I'm mataba"

He pouted but finally answered. Maine was still looking at him habang nagpipogil ng tawa. Napangalumbaba naman si Alden, parang batang hindi nabigyan ng candy.

"Syempre joke lang yon! Love na love ko kaya yang arms mo"

She said comfortingly and started pinching RJ's arms.

"Love ko yan mula dito.."

She started to plant playful kisses on Alden's biceps.

"...tapos dito.."

Maine's kiss went up from his biceps to his neck up to his cheeks. Alden couldn't help but too smile.

"Cute mo, kakainis, di kita matiis" Alden said while laughing.

"Tiniis mo kaya ako for 5 minutes"

"Halos mabaliw ka na nga eh, five minutes pa lang yon ha, five minutes"

"It was not the best five minutes of my life, you know. I couldn't imagine to live that five minutes my entire life"

"Why would you imagine that? Five minutes pa nga lang hindi na kita matiis eh, lifetime pa kaya"

"Malay mo isang araw maisip mo na hindi pala ako yung gusto mong makasama araw-araw"

"Really, Maine? Three years ngayon ka pa nagdoubt? I really do have to tell you na I love you every single minute no?"

"No, its annoying"

"Its annoying pero pag hindi sinasabi napaparanoid ka. Weird mo"

"Weird but cute"

They both laughed. RJ pulled maine unto his arms and laid together in the sofa.

"I love you"

Maine whispered. Alden smiled. This is one of the days where Maine was the one who said it first. Gwapong gwapo nanaman siya sa sarili niya.

"I love you, too"

Alden answered back and kissed Maine's head.
