luke and michael, they where complete opposites but somehow they both learned to love one another.
luke has always been quiet he's very shy and very, very insecure. before he met michael he honestly had no friends. people sometimes talked to him but he was never able to hold a conversation. he hated how awkward he was. luke lived with his mother, she was a very caring woman and she loved her son to death, she hate seeing how antisocial luke had gotten throughout the years. she made sure to give small luke all the love she could.
"be good lukey, see you later," she kissed luke's cheek softly unlocking the car door, she watched as the small boy shuffled towards the school door. luke was so very fragile and she sighed, wishing she could help her boy.
liz was never a bad mother, luke loved the woman to death. maybe she couldn't get luke the latest clothes or shoes but she got the boy what she could and what was necessary especially love and luke appreciated that he felt dared for and loved.
luke opened his locker, stuffing all the books he wasn't going to use into it. he zipped his backpack up and kept his eyes to the ground as he walked to class. the bell rung and the students quieted down, finding their seats and the continued talking. sometimes luke wished he had someone to talk to during times like this, just as he thought that the teacher walked in silencing everyone.
"simmer down simmer down, today we will learn about quadratic functions."
the lesson continued and luke took notes as the teacher talked but he was so lost. algebra always made him feel dumb. he wrote everything down but he never understood it. there was a knock at the door, the teacher stopped talking and walked towards the door opening it. he heard some mumbling before a tall guy with red dyed hair walked in following behind the teacher.
he scanned the free seats walking towards the one next to luke. michael didn't like sitting in the front which is why he chose the seat next to luke's because it was the only seat left in the back row. the boy set his backpack down taking out a black notebook and a pencil he started scribbling into his notebook blocking out the teachers voice.
luke eyed the boy he seemed quiet too. he was wearing skin tight black jeans, and a white greenday shirt with a black leather jacket and a pair of combat boots. luke turned his eyes back to the board continuing his note taking. this class always seemed to feel like more than an hour long to luke. he sighed putting his head down for a while until he heard the teachers voice again.
"okay class complete the 2 example problems with the help of a partner, you can only work with the person next you, if you all get too loud i will make the class work individually."
i hate this, was luke's first thought he didn't want to work with michael.
the boy scared him.
"so do you know how to do this?" he heard a voice speak. it was the new dude. he knew it was him. luke shook his head no. he didn't want to face the boy. "do you need help?"
luke shook his head once again. he dint trust his voice.
"i can help you." the boy pressed.
why did he keep talking.
why doesn't he shut up.
why doesn't he leave me alone.
why is he making me so nervous.
luke shrugged in response hoping, just hoping that the boy would take that as a no, but he was wrong. the new guy scooted his desk closer to luke's and began talking once again. "okay uh... luke." he figured that was the blonde boys name since tat what it said on the top of his paper.
