The teacher was assigning seats alphabetically leaving the Harry Potter look alike and the awkward outcast stuck together. The amount of bruises and insults exchanged between the two over the course of 180 days was unimaginable, but the two were friends in a disfunctional way. Ren and T.K. were more alike then they would like to admit, but they tried to be there for each other anyway. Though T.K. wouldn't know until later, Ren did like him.

Looking at herself in the mirror, Ren grinned at the memory of when they were awkward young teenagers. T.K. was getting ready in another room in the hotel as she was getting into her dress. A white one, like their mothers wanted.

For half their freshman year, T.K. was barely seen by Ren andher friends. He was busy with his girlfriend..a girl that used to be one of Ren's best friends, but she would destroy him. Completely ripping him apart, leaving him a mess of pent up emotions for Ren and the others to deal with. Though he was slowly coming back to life, it was drawn out and annoying.

It was hard to believe that today was the day. That they would be married in the matter of minutes. Ren took a deep breath as her father started to lead her down the aisle. T.K. was the one person in the room to her.

On the 22nd of November, T.K. and Ren got together. Things were slow and later rocky..he dumped her about four months later for some not so great reasons. Yet they never stopped talking or sitting together and a month later, they were back together. Things were moving much faster. Probably too fast as they look back on it now, but they were young and in love.

It didn't matter anymore that they had a rough start. Or that they shouldn't have lasted as long as they did. Or that T.K.'s mother hated her. Her father gave her away to the man of her dreams. She just wanted to say "I do" and be T.K.'s wife.

After two years of dreaming about it and talking about it, they were going off to college in a week's time. T.K. was determined to go to one of the schools his overbearing parents wanted him to go to, and he got his choice of schools. The pushing paid off and now he was free. He would play lacrosse in college and get to live in apartment off campus thanks to his grandmother. With Ren.

Ren was set on going to college with T.K. knowing that neither of them did well with separation. Her family couldn't afford to pay for a lot of her expenses, but what they could do was enough to secure her spot at the college. She couldn't live in the dorm, but T.K.'s grandmother was gracious enough to pay for their apartment for their time at school..she was the only one from his family who knew they would be living together. It was going to be strange living together, but Ren couldn't wait.

T.K. and Ren didn't hear the priest's words. Not really. They wrote their own vows, much to their families' surprise and made each other cry. But they were waiting for the best part.

Ren was still working towards being a teacher while T.K. was done with school and working. They were living in a different apartment for the time being, slowly saving up to move back to their hometown. T.K. proposed to her a year ago, and the wedding plans were forming quickly so they could get the formalities over with. The wedding was mainly for the families anyway.

After hearing the other say "I do", they couldn't even wait for the priest to say "You may now kiss the bride." They were wrapped around each other as soon as possible, just like when they were just teenagers. They were officially and legally bound together.

Today. On the 10th anniversay of being together.
