Griffyn looked around the bland waiting room. The off-white walls were bare except for a small clock and generic paining you'd buy at a craft store.

Griffyn slumped in her chair. She glanced at the clock and let out a low groans. They'd been waiting for twenty minuets. She looks around at the other patients. A little boy was sitting in the corner with his baby sister playing with the wire toy and his mother was sitting in a chair next to an older girl who looked a little younger then Griffyn. There was an older boy who looked like he probably brought himself here and like he was too cool for doctors offices. His broken leg said otherwise.

Griffyn sighed again. She looked around to the room for something to do when her eyes caught a familiar symbol. It was in the younger girls phone case. A crown with three points and the letters "FOB" inside of it. She shrugged and walked over to the girl.

"Fall out boy?"

"Huh?" The girl looked confused then glances at herself. "Oooh. Yeah! Why? You listen to them?" The girl asked.

"Yeah. My favorite band actually. Well- that and Panic! At the disco. And All Low and MCR and TøP like five other bands. Lol." Griffyn said awkwardly and smiled.

The girl smiled back. "Cool. I'm Marissa by the way."

"Hi Marissa. I'm Griffyn."

Marissa stared hard at her face. "Do I know you? You look familiar..."

"I look a lot like my sister. Aspen Troi. She's um-"

"Oh my god. You're Aspen Troi's little sister?! You're the Griffyn Troi?!" The girls mother gave her a warning glance. "You're like all Aspen talks about. The whole fandom loves you!" The girl said excitedly, putting her hand on Griffyns shoulder. But she quickly recoiled assuming she was being kinda weird.

Griffyn gave her a blank stare. "Um, everything okay?"

Marissa blushed, "Oh, yeah. Sorry just didn't wanna weird you out. Heh."

"Nah it's okay. I'm a Fangirl of many things and understand this. I know I'm not really anything special, but you wanna take a picture?"

The girls face lit up. "OMG yes!!" She slid open the camera before Griffyn even blinked. "Smile!" Marissa said quickly before taking about seven pictures. Griffyn tried to smile.

Marissa smiled up at Griffyn. "You are so cool, thanks!" Griffyn smiled and blushed deeply in response. "Hey by the way what's your Instagram? The fandom has been trying to find you but no can."

"It's marshmellowmeme17 but I should change it."

"Nah I like it. Okay but serious question: is Tiffyn real?" Griffyn blinked.

"Tiffyn?"

"You and Teo."

"Oh...um-"

A nurse walked through the door, "Griffyn Troi?" Perfect timing. Griffyn quickly stood and she and her mother followed the nurse.

Aspen lay crouched on her bedroom floor. She glanced at herself in the mirror hanging behind her door. She regretted doing so. She saw her bloodshot eyes and tear stained cheeks. She kicked herself for even looking up. She hated it. Aspen looked down at the red marks on her arm and then to the black rubber band around her wrist. She winced. How could she ever even think about hurting herself aimlessly? She hated everything about herself. She groaned as she snapped back the rubber band again. The marks they left weren't very noticeable and even if anyone saw then, they didn't look like she'd been hurting herself.

How this happened to her? How did she let it get this bad? She hated herself more for even thinking about it. Why had she done this?

Teo groaned. He hated this place. There was little to no wifi and the room was boring. "Uhhhhhggggggggggggggg" he whined. He threw a ball of paper at the wall. A nurse poked her head in door.

"Everything okay in here?"

"No," Teo retorted. "How do people survive in here?!"

"Crosswords?"

Teo rolled his eyes. He wanted to slam his head against the wall.

Griffyn walked out of the hospital. Her arm was less broken and was apparently "healing nicely". She was less then two feet from the building when a camera flashed in her face:

"What the hell?!" She snapped. Four more people with cameras surrounded them taking pictures. Krystal shooed them off but when they wouldn't leave she grabbed Griffyns sleeve and dragged her back inside.

"I've got a mind to bash their skulls in...." She muttered to herself. Griffyn looked at her weird. Krystal walked up to the nurses satiation. "Is there a back way out? There's a mob out there and we'd like to avoid it." She said annoyed.

"There's a back door the workers will take to go on break and smoke. I can take you out there during my break in an hour."

Krystal sighed. She'd have to wait here for an hour? "Okay, great thanks." She said and joined Griffyn in the waiting area.

Marissa walked out of the ladies room and say Griffyn sitting in the waiting room again. She walked over and sat a few chairs away from her. "Hey," she waved.

"Oh, hi Marissa. You're still waiting on your brother?"

"Yep. What are you doing here? I thought you left?"

"I did, but then there was a sea of cameras outside so I can back heh."

"Yikes." Marissa shuddered. She reached in her purse and pulled out a small ziplock bag. "Cookie?" She said offering a red and blue star shaped cookie to her.

"Sure." Griffyn said taking the cookie and patting the seat next to her, motioning for Marissa to sit.

Marissa switched chairs and moved closer to Griffyn.  She stared at her shoes for a second before saying, "I know this is random and sudden and weird, but do and your sister wanna hang out sometime? I'd love to get to know her- you. Get to know both of you."

Griffyn thought wearily for a moment. Was this really a good idea? "I'd uh... I'd have to ask Aspen if she's open to that. Why don't I give you my number and we'll keep in touch?"

The girl looked slightly let down and extremely excited at the same time and Griffyn had no idea how that was possible. "That. Would be. A. Maze. Ing." She squeaked. "Here," she said handing Griffyn her phone. Griffyn took the phone hesitantly. Was she really going to give her phone number to some random Fangirl? What if she gave it away to other people.

She'd never do that would she?

"Griffy?" The younger girl said.
"Oh sorry," she said forcing a half smile. "Blanked out. Here," she said handing the phone back to Marissa after putting her number in.
"Eee! Thanks! Text me aspens number later okay???" She said putting her hands on Griffyns knees.
"O-oh I don't-"
"You're the best, bestie!!" Marissa quickly stood up and turned to leave.
"Wait! What about your-" The door slammed shut behind her. "-brother. Ugh."

Krystal sat next to her. "Do you know that girl?"
"Uhn no." Griffyn groaned. "She's just some fan of Aspen."
"Oh," was all she said back.

The receptionist walked up to Krystal, "You ladies ready to get out of here?"
"About time." Krystal snorted.
The lady sighed. "Follow me." She led them down a poorly lit hall way and to a back door with a sign that read 'EMPLOYEES ONLY'. They entered a small break room with a couch and chairs. She weaved through the room to a glass door in the back.

"This isn't an exit..." Griffyn monotoned.
"Yes it is," she pushed open the door and revealed an alley behind the building. "There's no way around the building without being seen. You go into that building through the door on the left. Your mom-" she stopped and turned to face Krystal, "will put this scarf around her head and get to car to pick you up. Everyone clear?" The old lady looked slightly annoyed.
Griffyn and Krystal exchanged looks then slowly nodded.

"Good."
