Chapter 4:

Moriah's P.O.V.

"No I'm not mean people just take the things that I say in a negative way." I was trying to explain to my fiancé Maurice.

"Mo honestly the things that you say can only be taken in a negative way. You say things too harsh but I'm used to it that's why I don't take what you say to the heart because I know you don't mean for it to come out that way." He said wrapping his arms around me tighter as we lay on the couch just talking.

"I guess.But I really try to think before i speak." I said laying my head on his chest since i was laid back in between his legs.

"It doesn't matter what people think about your reckless mouth. As long as I can handle it that's what matters." He said kissing my cheek.

I smiled. "Can you believe we'll be getting married next year?" I asked getting butterflies just thinking about it.

"Yea, I'm ready to let everybody know that you my woman and I'm your man. Then put some more babies in there." He said poking my stomach.

" Two kids are more than enough right now. Can we at least wait until Khalil is nine or ten, and then Malachaie would be five or six?"

I asked looking up at him. Hoping he would agree, because I don't want stair step children that's just too much to deal with.

"Yea that's coo. I just want my lil soccer team, six kids maximum though." He said rubbing my sides.

"The hell?! We ain't having no more than four. And that's a compromise because I'm good with the two we already have."

"Just know if it comes down to it I'll trap you."

"Then I'll stab you." I said threatened.

"You loved being pregnant with Khalil and Malachaie."

"No. I loved not having a period and having an excuse to eat all the time and be lazy.. But I did not like the back pains, cramps, and I fucking hate morning sickness." I said remembering how my last pregnancy was the worst when it came to throwing up all the time.

"Well the reward is enough to make it all worth it." He said sighing.

"Yea you're right. But we still waiting to have more kids." I said seriously.

"Alright. But what time do we gotta pick up the boys?" He asked me turning the t.v. back on since we had it off since we were talking.

"At around four thirty." I said grabbing the remote flicking through the channels.

"Alright then I'll go get them." He said kissing on my neck.

"Why you got a girlfriend at that daycare?" I asked frowning

"Stop playing Mo you know I'm not with that cheating shit." He said seriously.

" That's what all guys say then when you find out they had six kids by six different women behind yo back you looking stupid."

"But as your soon to be husband you should already know that I'm the most faithful nigga in the world. I've never not once thought about cheating on you or any other girl I've been with in the past." He said sitting up making me sit up.
