"There were hard times and there were good times. We shared our laughter and fought through the tears. All the hard work we have done has all been leading up to this moment. Years ago we would look to this day and think of it as the end, but it is only the beginning. It is the end of our childhood and the start of lives. We will be faced with many decisions and will fight many battles, but let us never stray from our paths. We will have many opportunities and chances we didn't take, but do not let them burden you. Remember to smile and keep your head up and fight. You can make it through anything as long as you keep a positive attitude. Good luck, Class of 2015. Let the good times commence!" Our Alma Mater played as everybody threw their hats into the air.

The echoes of loud cheers and clapping pervaded the arena. A huge smile spread across my face as I stepped down from the pulpit to go back to my seat. I was nervous about giving the valedictorian speech but I felt an immense sense of relief after it was over. I finally graduated high school. I couldn't describe the feeling I had. The music filled my ears as row by row, the graduates spilled out of the arena. I walked through the tunnel through the exit doors. My family was going to meet me in the front of the arena to take pictures. I made my way through the hordes of people surrounding me until I spotted my family.

"Congratulations!" They all screamed. I smiled big and my mom engulfed me in a hug.

"I'm so proud of you, sweetheart. You did an amazing job on your speech. I see why you were the valedictorian." She said. I laughed and rubbed her back.

"Thanks mom." I pulled away and went over to hug the rest of my family. They all shared some sincere words with me and I thanked them all. After I hugged everyone, we all posed for some pictures. Shortly after, we all went to my house for the graduation party. I walked in and it was decorated with my graduation colors, blue and gold. There was delicious food prepared and everybody ate until they were full. My favorite songs were playing from the speakers and I was surrounded by the people I loved on my special day.

The celebration lasted for several hours before everyone started to leave. It was just my parents and me left. I was the youngest child and all my older brothers had already graduated. I had all my unopened graduation gifts in my room and I smiled when I saw them. I was exhausted from the busy day I had so I decided to take a relaxing bath before bed. I filled the bath up with bubbles, lit some candles, and put some relaxing music on. I put my favorite lavender bath bomb in the tub and watched it fix up and dissolve leaving a lovely purple tint to the water. I washed my makeup off and let my dress fall to the floor before sliding my tense body into the warm tub.

I let the calming scent and warm water soothe my aching muscles. I laid my head back on my spa pillow and closed my eyes. I focused on the music as I let my thoughts wonder. It felt good not to have school anymore. Summer was starting and I had a month off of work to do whatever I wanted. I wanted to spend this time wisely. Maybe I could go on vacation somewhere, I thought. My thoughts gradually faded out as my eyes grew heavy and sleep overtook me. I woke up when the bath water was cold. I got out of the water and put my warm robe one. I drained the bathtub and put my pajamas on. I curled into my made bed and fell into a deep sleep.
