It's Not Over (Sequel To The Wrong Path)

Finding Out

     Everyone was asleep in their own bed. I laid in my own bed looking up at another bed. I couldn't sleep I was busy thinking about where was everyone going and Meredith was still with the doctors. "Psst, hey Gracey down here." I looked under my bed to see Aris. He was in the vents crawling around. "Follow me but be quiet" Aris said crawling backward in the vents. I followed him in the vents and tried to ask where he was leading me but he would just shut me up each time. Finally, we stopped at a big vent door that lead down and Aris told me to look through it. There was nothing until a doctor brought some beds covered with plastic and had body diagrams on top. "Where are they taking them" I asked. "I don't know the vents don't go through those doors" Aris said looking back down and leaving me going to his room. I stayed a while and watched until I felt a bit tired.
The next day was the same routine like always wake up, shower, dress, eat, and meet Aris in the vents. We kept a close eye on the doctors until I had enough of looking at the hall. I climbed down while Aris followed me.
We both went in and took a look around, Aris stopped in his tracks once he saw a girl hanging while serum dripping out of her. He looked to the ground and I looked at the girl confused. "Her name was Ashley. We were great friends. She was selected three days ago" he said looking back up walking away. After a couple of seconds in silence Michael and one of the doctors came in while Aris and I went to hide behind some walls. They went towards the end of the wall and the doctor opened up a screen from his tablet thing. Michael started to talk to this woman that I remember from somewhere but I couldn't figure out where. Michael started to talk "Hello, Jessica we've been waiting for your arrival and we have the kids you wanted." "Good, I will be there in a week or so and make sure they have enough of that serum in them" Jessica said while taking a look at some of her files. Jessica was speaking again but got interrupted by a teenage girl, I took a closer look and it was Corah. I reminded myself of what she did to me and possibly what she did to Seth. She was hurting all my friends I wondered who was next. "Ok hold on Corah I will be with you in just a sec. Michael I have to go but I want them unharmed and not in pain" she said looking serious. "They won't feel anything I promise you that" he said leaving with a smirk, then the screen went black. I looked at Aris and he looked at me. We ran to the vents and crawled fast enough to beat Michael and the doctors. I crashed through the vent door. "We have to leave now! They're coming for us and they're working with Corah" I said panicking and knotting up the door with the bed cover and covered the door with the bed. "Gracey what's going on! Tell me what is wrong you're acting insane" Nic said yelling at me while Seth tried to ask Aris but he was just in shock and froze in his steps. "I will explain on the way out follow me, Now!" Then we left through the vents.

Ok I know this is REALLY short but it's harder then you think with school work and writing. Anyways I still love to write this book up every single day. Ok then till next chapter.
