Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Hello California!

"This is your captain speaking. Please fasten your seatbelts as we prepare for landing," the captain spoke over the mic as it resonated through the plane.

I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes as I pulled up the blind to see out the window. The city looked so beautiful from the sky. I picked up my iPad and snapped a pic of Cali and made it my wall paper. I scanned our plane and noticed that everyone was getting their stuff together well almost everyone. My little sister was still in dreamland.

If you are wondering who this little girl is, well she is my 7 year old little sister Lila. She has long blonde hair and hazel eyes, she got the hair colour from mom and eyes from dad. She was in a floral dress paired with a pink bandeau and ballet flats. She looked so cute sleeping. She is bubbly and will have you smiling when you're around her.

I put my gadgets away as the plane made contact with the ground. It took a few minutes before the plane stopped and the door was open. I unbuckled my seat belt and got up and stretched. As we were exiting our attention was turned to Lila who stood at the bottom of the stairs.

"I'm hungry can we go get something to eat," she say in a voice that caused everyone to laugh.

"Sure honey, how is pizza working for you?" mom asked her. When Lila replied with a huge smile mom turned to us, "Well?" she asked.

"Yeah," we all say in agreement. Just as it was confirmed two cars and a moving truck drove up to us. We gathered into the car Dalia and I in one and mom, dad and Lila in the other. We didn't wait on the truck to be loaded as we made our way to the restaurant.

30 minutes later

We arrived at 'Lucas Pizzeria'. We entered the restaurant and took a table in the corner of the room. It was not long until a girl in some blue jeans and black polo shirt and sneakers came over to us. I am guessing she is our waitress.

"Hello my name is Krystal and I will be your waitress on this fine evening. May I take your order?" she says looking at her note pad.

"We would like two medium pizza one with peperoni and one with chicken and pineapple" my dad orders.

"And what can I get you guys to drink?" she says as she still has her head down writing.

"Um...... 3 iced-tea, 1 bottle water and a sprite" mom finishes the order and finally the girl raises her head. Her eyes widen when she saw us.

"Oh My God you are Katherine and Morgan Hylton I love your movies," she all but squeals. She looks like she in her early 20's probably 23.

"Yes we are... could you not let anyone know where here. We had a long day and we just need to relax," my mom pleaded to the waitress as she nodded her head in understanding. Before she left to get our food she took a pic with my parents and got their autographs.

20 minutes later

"Ok here is two medium pizza 1 with peperoni and 1 with chicken and pineapple, 3 iced-tea, 1 bottle water and a sprite," the waitress whose name is Mindy recites our order as she placed it on the table. She lift her head and smiled at us well more to my parents than us. "Enjoy," she utters and walks away.

40 minutes later

We were all heading for the cars while dad paid the bill. I was stuffed and tired all I wanted to do was crawl into my bed and sleep. For now I will just take a nap in the car until I reach home and fall asleep.
