"Mariella time for school get up." My mom was yelling at me to get up because I wasn't waking up for school.I got up from my comfy bed and did my morning routine and went downstairs to eat breakfast. When I got downstairs I found my mom crying and my siblings were just watching tv typical. "Mom what happened?Why are you crying?" "Sweetie I have to tell you something" "What is it?" " your dad and I are getting a divorce." I was shocked why did my parents want a divorce? My mom was about to say something when I ran out the door with my car keys.
I ran into the car when I heard someone call my name.
"Mariella!!!" I turned around to see my cousin/neighbour shalina." Let me guess you want a ride?""Yup." "Get in I have to tell u something important"
She got into my car (I have a white Lamborghini) and turned up the music. "Shalina can you off the music? I have to tell you something that my mom told me today"
" OMG IS SHE PREGNANT?!!!" "NO!" I chuckled. "My mom" "come on tell me we tell each other every thing"
"mymomanddadaregettingadivorce" I said really quickly. "Tell me slowly" " I said my.mom.and.dad.are.getting.a.divorce." She looked at me shocked like as if was telling her I was pregnant. "WHAT why?"" When my mom told me I ran out the door before she could say anything else."
After that we stayed silent the whole ride the school.
When we reached school everyone was looking at me and shalina. Well you could say that we are popular in school.
I said bye to shalina and went to my locker.
The bell rang, I had math first so I was walking to class when I bumped in to someone. " I'm sor-" I looked up to see my ex boyfriend shawn smirking at me. "You know what no I'm not sorry."
With that I walked away when I felt a hand on my wrist.
" let go of me" I said clenching my teeth.
"Come on babe your not still mad at me are you?" "Really your asking me if I'm still mad at you for cheating on me for two years?!" Then I pulled out of his grip on me and walked away.
When I reached math and walked in. "Mrs Ramirez what's your excuse this time?" " I was stuck in traffic?" "Ok take your seat next to Mrs Narayan" I took my seat next to shalina (aka mrs Narayan ) and listen to the teacher teach the lesson surprisingly I payed attention don't get me wrong I like math and all but it kind of boring.
(Skip to after school)
I reached home and saw my dad packing his things on a delivery truck.
"Dad wear are you going?"
"Didn't your mother tell u about the divorce?"
" Ya but I didn't hear the whole thing"
"I'm leaving to go to British Colombia" he had a tear in his eyes
I ran to my room and slid down to ground and cried my heart out (I live in Ottawa)
(Next morning)
I had a headache when I woke up. I went to my mom. " mom can I stay home?"
"Sure you can spend time with dad for today" she said with a fake smile
I got dressed and did my routine.
When I was done I got downstairs to see my dad drinking coffee.
"Morning daddy"" morning Hun" It was silent for a while then I broke it by asking a question
"So... When are you leaving?"
"In a hour" " An hour?! I have an hour to see you until you leave me forever?!"
I was crying when my dad hugged me
"I'm not leaving forever, I'll come and visit and we could Skype"
When I stopped crying the door bell rang. When I opened the door my cousins were standing there. "Hi I'm guessing you guys want to see my dad before he leaves?" They all nodded." "Come in"
We all talked for a while until it was time for dad to leave.
"Bye daddy, don't forget to call me on Skype when you get home I'll always be online waiting."
"I won't forget, oh and stay away from boys." We all giggled, I crossed my fingers. "I promise"
After he left I ran upstairs and cried my heart out."why, why did he have to leave?" I just cried harder.
(A year later tanisha's POV)
A year passed since dad left us to go to British Columbia. But after 3 months I stopped crying about it.
I was in my pjs watching spongebob when the door bell rang. I got up from my comfy position and opened to see a familiar man in his 30s.
"Hi?" And I open the door there was a man about in his mid 30s
"Hi is shobna home?" I was shocked what did this man want with my mom?!
"Yeah she is here, why" For a second I thought this was some creepy stalker wanting to talk to my mom.
" I'm her boyfriend" he had a smirk on his face. My jaw dropped to the ground. My own mom didn't tell me that she had a boyfriend. Wow
" Come in and sit down I'll go get her from her bed room." He sat down meanwhile I went upstairs to get my mom.
I ran upstairs to my moms room "Mom your boyfriends heat downstairs""I'm so sorry I didn't tell you" she had tears in her eyes "Honey are you mad at me?" "I'm not mad at you, I'm just shocked that you didn't tell me. Anyways I'm going to go make dinner you go downstairs and get to know your boyfriend more, GO!"I ran downstairs to make dinner. I was thinking of what I could make for dinner I just ended up calling pizza hut.
(15 minutes later)
The doorbell rang and I thought it was the pizza man so I brought the money with me and opened the door to see teenage boy around my age with two little kids little girl and little boy. The teenage boy had hi hood on so I couldn't see his face.
"Hi, how can I help you?" I didn't know who they were so I asked them why they were here.
" Is my dad Jeremy here?" Could he be talking about my mom's boyfriend
"Hold on" I went to the living room to see my mom and her boyfriend sitting on the couch watching TV.
"Mom what's your boyfriends name?" "Jeremy, why?" "There are three kids waiting for him at the door" "Oh their my kids tell them to come inside" "Ok"
I walked to the door and saw them waiting for me to come back"Ok come into the house your dad is waiting for you inside" " Ok"
I walk to the living room to see who they were. " Mariella this is my son Justin"Justin hood his hood off and waved at me I was surprised I was in the same room as Justin bieber "this is Jazzy"she came and gave me a hug "and this is Jackson"he just gave me a smile.
The doorbell rang I got up to open the door but Justin beat me to it and paid for the pizza.I yelled at him for paying for it, but he just stood there like nothing happened.
"Justin I was going to pay for that!" "I couldn't let a lady pay for dinner." He had a smirk on his face. "Here" I handed him twenty dollars but he didn't take it from me." Take its the least I could do." "No I don't take money from girls or anyone else it just feels wrong" ok I had a plan to make him take the money...
"Ow!!!" I clenched on to my ankle and screamed in pain, not to loud so mom wouldn't get worried. "Oh my god what happened?!" "My ankle I think I twisted it." "Let me see." "No don't touch me you didn't take the money so just leave me here in pain!" "Ok I'll take the money just move your hand" I smirked and handed him the money. He looked at my ankle. That's when I got up. "You took the money that's all I wanted." "Mariella don't ever do that to me you scared me to death"
I grabbed the pizza from his hand so I could set the table. "Justin could you help me set the table?" I gave him a puppy dog face and waited for his answer "Sure I'll take the plates you take the pizza"
After we set the plates we called everyone. Then we all ate and talked about our life's
My mom asked Justin a question. "How is your world tour going Justin?" World tour?
No way don't tell me this is Justin drew bieber. "It's going great me fans go really crazy but I still love them" "aww that's sweet." We finished eating I was putting my dishes away when I overheard my mom and Jeremy talking. "You could stay here as long as you want and need you have no were else to go so yea." Omg Justin bieber and his family are going to say here? Wow
I decided to take a shower, I got upstairs took out my pjs and put them on my bed I took my towel and ran into my bathroom
I was about to take a shower when I remembered I left my pj in my room so I raped my towel around myself and got outside of my bathroom and walked into my room I got my pj from my bed and headed to the bathroom when my door opened and Justin just walked in listening to music full blast he didn't even see me in a towel so I walked up to him pulled out his ear pods.
"Why are you in my room? And don't you know how to knock?!" His eyes widened and he looked at me from head to toe, I started to blush." Y-you-ur m-mom told m-me to sleep here" he's cute when he stutters, did I just say that? Snap out of it he could be my step brother one day." Jazzy and Jaxon are sleeping in the gust room and there's no more space for me, so please can I sleep here please...?" He gave me his best puppy dog face. "Fine just stay on your side, ok?" He just nodded
Justin's POV
Mariella fell asleep a couple minutes ago. It had just stared to rain, "BAM!!!". Lightning struck it was really loud."AHH!!!" Tanisha screamed "shhh it's ok it's only lighting."
"You don't under stand, ever since my dad left and there was a storm like this I would cry and cry until I fell asleep." I rapped my arms around her trying to comfort her, she hid her face in my chest and fell asleep.
(Next morning)
Mariella's POV
I woke up finding myself on something hard, then it hit me Justin and I had to share a room.I opened my eyes to see justin smirking and he had no shirt on, showing off his 6 pack.
"Good morning Ella" "Ella?" "Yah I gave you a nickname, do you like it ?" "No, I love it"
He had a huge smile on his face, "ok well I'm going to take a shower so meanwhile you could go downstairs and eat something." And with that I took my towel and headed to the shower.
*skip to afternoon*
I was curled up on the couch watching twilight breaking dawn part 2 when Justin came to the room.
"Eww, your watching twilight?" "Yes, you got a problem with that?" "Yes I do the game is on." "Does it look like I care?" He had a huge grin on his face. What was he thinking?
" I bet a visit from the tickle monster will fix this problem." My eyes widened I am super ticklish. " You wouldn't." With that he ran to me and started ticketing me on my stomach. "Say Justin bieber is the best singer in the world" " Justin... bieber is ... The ..worst singer in the world." He started ticketing me harder. "Say it!" " fine .. Justin bieber.. Is the best singer in the world."
"Good girl." He patted my head. "I'm not a dog." You sure about" "what was that" " nothing" "yeah thought so."

My phone started to ring I looked at Justin he had a shocked face meanwhile I was mentally laughing. I looked at the ID, it was my baby cousin Cynthia.
*Phone convo*
"Hi aunty"
"Hi Mariella, I just wanted to ask what time you guys were coming today?"
"Oh I totally forgot that I was supposed to come today, Umm how about ill be there with Nadia and Rohan in half an hour?"
"Sure ill see you then."
"Kk bye"
*end of phone conversation*
I ran to my mom to tell her I was going to Cynthia's house.
"Mom I'm taking Nadia and Rohan to Cynthia's house, aunty wants me to babysit alvin and Cynthia for the night, they have to go to the states to pick something's from someone's house." "Ok but take Justin, jazzy,and jaxon with you they were going to stay here for the weekend anyways.""Well I'm going to go tell Justin to get ready."" Ok."
I walk into the living room to see Justin watching the hockey game
"Justin I have to go babysit my baby cousin and I'm taking Nadia and Rohan, my mom wants me to you and your sister and brother so are you gonna come?" "Ok ill come." He got up and ran upstairs to get his stuff
Meanwhile I went to my mom to tell her we were leaving." Ok, well we better be going and I'm going to need to use the van, because six people aren't gonna fit in my car."" Ok just don't scratch it." "Don't worry it will be fine."
I took the keys and ran out the door. I got jaxon, jazzy, and Rohan in their car seats and drove off.
