Sue Heck had changed a little bit since her family had scene her last. They hadn't scene her for over 5 months. She got to caught up with school and studying and then all of a sudden it was winter brake and she got to come home.

But like I said earlier about her changing... She got her hair dyed into an ombré, and her looks had matured just slightly but it made her even more beautiful. She got a little more confident In front of people and didn't seem as awkward or goofy, but still was. Her look and style had changed from pink and fluffy to basic and slightly more grunge.

Her family hadn't seen this side of her and sue was honestly a little worried that they would treat her a little different. A little like axel, and she did not want that.

This specific day she was wearing a black scrappy crop top was a couple inches above her belly button. She had black fishnets with the holes smaller then regular fish nets and a plaid skirt that went to her knees. Before she left she slipped on a pair of small heeled black chunky heels and a over sized jean jacket that she stole from axel.

She had rode the bus to her house, well, a couple blocks away from her house where the bus stop was. When she got to the door she could've sworn she heard laughing from a unfamiliar voice but brushed it off as someone laughing on the tv.

When she tried to get into the house the door was locked so she had to knock and as she did she yelled "Guys! It's me! Sue! Your daughter, I mean you know it's your daughter-" as she was in the middle of her sentence axel suddenly opened the door.

For once he was actually wearing clothes. She gave him a hug and kiss on the cheek and he took her bags. At school they had grown close to each other and didn't hate each other as much as they did before.

When she turned and saw that the tv was off. "Is someone over?" She asked as they continued to walk in. But all Axel said was "look for yourself dork." And motioned toward the dining room.

She walked into the dining room and axel continued to put sue's bag into her room. As soon as Sue walked into the dining room it got quiet. Sue couldn't believe her eyes. The Glossners and the Hecks where having dinner. Together. And actually enjoying it.

"Honey your home!" Frankie said walking over to her daughter and giving her a hug. "You remember the Glossners right?" Sue slowly nodded her head "well when you where gone we got close to them, helped them," Frankie whispered this part into sue's ear "clean up there act."

"Now come on sit down, tell us about college." Frankie dragged sue to a seat and sat her down right in between axel who had gotten back and next to Derek. Sue felt really awkward but brushed it off, she didn't want to mess this up if both of the family's where actually happy.

"Well not really a lot has happened... I finally got a new roommate!"  Sue said happily. "Wait? The didn't give you a roommate in the beginning of the year? That's jack!" Rita said. Frankie nodded and said "right!"

They all continued with there small talk until they all retired into the living room to watch tv. Sue was in charge of cleaning up. As she was cleaning off the table Derek and axel came out of his room. They had become good friends.

"Hey dork what the hell are you wearing?" Axel said making sue roll her eyes "you've seen me wear this before, stop pretending my change of fashion is the biggest thing going on in your life right now." Sue said and wiped down the Table.

Derek butted in saying something that not only shocked Axel but it also shocked Sue, "I think you look hot."

"Eww gross that's my sister!" Axels said and quickly rushed out to the living room.

Sue quickly blushed and looked down "umm thanks." As soon as she lifted up her head to look at him he was suddenly two inches in front of her.

"You got your braces off, guess that means I can't kiss them off." He said and brushed a strand of hair off of she's face. "Guess I'll have to kiss your retainer off." He said and without any warning kissed her.

Sue was in absolute shock. When he pulled off he reached into his mouth and pulled out Sue's retainer and set in on the table and quickly walked out. Sue didn't know how but he did. With a small smile sue picked up her retainer and washed it off in her bathroom. When she looked into the mirror she saw that she was subconsciously smiling. And at that very moment she knew that things would change.
