Dear journal.
I- I'm not sure where to start. I really need to clear my mind but I'm not sure who to turn to anymore. I guess the best way to start is from the beginning.

Dear journal.
So friggin excited.. tomorrows the first day of my new life!! High school is going to be the year that I finally become someone. All my days I've spent in elementary school I've learned but one thing, and one thing only -- you worry less when you put things off until later, or say, a couple years. During our graduation, however, the realness of it all hit me with a big slap to the face. Through blurry vision, as I watched my arch rival deliver MY speech made me think about all the times I let my insecurity and straight up fear get in the way of 14 years of my life. All that wasted time, missed opportunities, I'm going to make up for it. I owe it to myself.

"I cant believe it"
Callie gazed in awe outside of the little bus window as her new school steadily approached before her. Although having been there beforehand, she seemed to have forgotten the enormity of the place. The bus gradually slowed to a stop at the end of the street, and let out a moan, as if weary of the difficult day ahead. "You can do this Callie, " she assured herself, gingerly making her way down the steep steps. Squeezing the stress ball hidden in her pocket, she felt good, she looked good, and she was ready.
"Haha look at that, a freshie. Hey cutie, you're going the wrong way," sneered a junior with the rest of his crew who were casually hanging out by the main hallway of the massive Sherman college prep. The hand inside of her pocket clenching and unclenching like crazy, she straightened up and smiled. "Would you like to repeat that I can't hear you. " Turning to his friends, he chuckles. "Haha the little freshie is deaf." Snickers all around. "Yeah. You appear to be going in the wrong direction." Showing fake empathy, he adds, "unless you were here to hook up with your senior boyfriend before class?" This seemed to get a hoot out of his buddies. Ignoring the jeers, she looks down at her schedule only to find put he was right.508 B was at the other. End. Of. The. Hallway. "Haha I almost feel bad for her." More laughs. He smiles down at his watch "You have 38 seconds left, put those pretty little legs of yours to work." Looking dumbly at him, she slowly processess what he was saying to her. And he was right. Veering around she prepares to sprin-DIIIIIIIIIING.

Fuck.
