The sky was dark with the absense of the silvery moon.Hogwarts castle was poured up by the surprised arrival of the rain.The rain drops hit the common room roof making rhythmic pattern.Sanyukta listened to the rain drops wide awake.Her cold fingers draw random patterns on the wet window pane.
She doodled an inferno,throwing out her worst nightmare.
Hermoine twisted in her bed due to cold atmosphere when her eyes suck to the pile of bedsheets beside her.
"Sanny"her hands touched Sanyukta's shoulder.
"Uh..."Sanyukta startled shifting her glance to hermoine's grey eyes."You are supposed to be sleep"her witty roommate supressed a yawn.
"Its just...hmm....the leg hurts"sanyukta pointed towards the large bandage wounded by madam.Pomphrey.
"I know...it takes time for the bones to form again.But you need rest."hermoine ran her long fingers through her curly hair.
"still it hurts"sanyukta shrugged still not ready to go to sleep.
"That dumbhead Ron.....you should think twice before playing with him"hermoine mumbled.
Sanyukta memory slipped to the afternoon.She and ron was practicing for quiditch matches and she collided with his beam accidentally breaking her leg.
What hurt her most was the smirk on the Slytherins face especially that stony black eyed Shekhawat,her arch nemesis.
"Sanny...should i get something for you"hermoine's sleepy voice snapped her out from the thoughts of black eyed boy.
"No...uhmm ...i think i should get some fresh air.."she struggled to get up from the bed.
"You are insane"Hermoine scowled.
"I will be ok"sanyukta mouthed picking her wand with the free hand as her other hand was busy with the stick helping her with the gravity.
"Sanny..keep this with you"hermoine covered sanyukta with a blanket.
"Oh...you are my saviour"s
Sanyukta beamed as her bestie smiled sheepishly.
Nearing the fat lady,she mumbled"Crackyweeds"
opening the door into dark corridors.The sound of her limping stick was pairing up with the rain drops impact.
"lumos"the wand lighhtened up as Sanyukta limped away from the Gryffindor dormitory.But her paces stopped as the thing happening in front of her blinded her senses,stopping the blood flow to her heart.
She cursed the time she decided to take the night stroll,to welcome something which stole her breaths away.
"Holy merlin"she hushed giving more pressure to her stick,with her hands shaking............
