Dear Spot,
Okay, so apparently, there's a day called Thanksgiving. Did you know that? Well, I was told it was a day to celebrate the first feast the pilgrims had with the Indians, which I know you do know something about. Thanksgiving is seriously amazing, okay? You can just eat so much good. There's so much food!! I'm willing to bet that none of us have ever seen this much food in one sitting.
Anyway, I have a new friend named Daniel, who knows all about you and Jack and New York. He invited me to join he and his wonderful girlfriend, Helen, for Thanksgiving dinner. It was fabulous. And, he proposed to her! It was so adorable! They're going to be so happy together, I just know it.
I miss you. So much. I know you and the Newsies don't celebrate Thanksgiving because you didn't while I was there, but I wish you all a hearty Thanksgiving! I hope you all have a great month and I'll write again soon, when I can. I miss you, Spot, and I love you so much!
