I was sitting outside in the pouring rain, waiting for the next train, under the shelter, on a cold bench, nothing but a cigarette in my left hand and a suitcase in my right. I waited and waited for the next train to London. I had come from Nottingham, my old small, boring town, which I could no longer take, leaving behind my mum, dad, little sister "Effie" and my ex boyfriend Clarke, I had had enough, everything was just the same, same house, same school, same boring friends, same life. It was time to leave. I had said my goodbyes and left, leaving behind nothing but memories. My past was in the past and now, a new start, a new me. I was sitting at Albertine Train
Station, it was rainy, gloomy and not many people were there, suddenly I heard a voice. "You don't suppose you have another one do you?" It was a girl, about 18, my age, she was smiling, her hair, long blonde and shiny, her voice, sweet like honey. She wore a baby blue coat that covered her knees and ash stockings with coal black Wellington boots. "Another?" I asked, staring into her big blue eyes. "Cigarette" she giggled. I passed her one of my Marlboro ice, she collected it with her soft hands, "you got a light?" She asked, shivering from the cold. "Sure". She put the cigarette between her lips as I lit her cigarette, she blew and I was mesmerized, she was such a sight! Grace, beauty, poise. "I'm Scarlette by the way, Scarlette Stadford" she said looking into my deep dark eyes. "Lana, Lana Bishop" I said biting my lip, " Well hello, Lana, Lana Bishop," she said, laughing. "Where are you off to then?" "London" I said smiling. "Well would you look at that! Me too!" She said, with a grin the size of her porcelain face.
