John's POV
I had Bay's phone. I had recovered it after the accident. Luckily the police let me have it. It was sitting in my pocket, i'm sitting there in those ugly green chairs thinking to myself why this could have happened to her. Suddenly, in my pants pocket, I feel a small vibration from Bay's cell phone. Indicating she had a text message. I took the phone out of my pocket and swiped the screen, looking at the message with pure anger after I realized who it was. Emmett. He was the reason Bay was here. She went to stop him from leaving when she was hit by that drunk driver. And thanks to him, she may never wake up. Even if she does, she will never be the same Bay that the Kennish and Vasquez family know and love.
