3 Months Later...

Hanging from a cliff, one hand... A crazy woman standing above me... It's been 3 months since I was with Alex... We were separated when the base was overrun. But she said that they cleared it when we talked on the radio. But now I'm hanging from a cliff, as I hear Alex talk on the radio, and the crazy women stands in front of me, laughing loudly. I knew there was no way out of this, I was sure I was going to die. I had made it through so much to have it end here. From herds of Biters, to being held at gunpoint. Now I'm about to fall from a cliff. Check that one off my bucket list. After Cassidy was eaten alive, I left the group, off to find a place to belong. Their group was too young and defenseless, and that's how groups die. Their still kids, I grew up.  They can't kill humans, I can.  This is the world we live in now.  No heroes, no humans.  We're either predators or preys, and I'm not going to be a prey.  I didn't tell you everything.  We weren't at the cabin the last time I saw Alex, we were at a safe zone.  But I don't need a safe zone to save me.  I can survive on my own, well I have Cooper of course.  But he may be long gone by now.  He ran when the women and two men attacked us.  Now I'm on a cliff, more like hanging on a cliff, hoping not to be kill as her foot comes down to stomp on my fingers.  She hits my hand and I fall.  I fall. I don't wake up.  Then I look below as I'm about to hit the water.  I plug my nose and cover my eyes as I hit the surface.  But I didn't die.

Mrphhhh... Murph. I emerged from the surface at the worst time possible.

A storm as big as hurricane Katrina, is throwing the water everywhere.

Even better, a minute later, a huge shark jumps out of the water at me.

I did do swimming in middle school but now like this, where I had to swim from a Great White Shark.

The radio crackles as Alex says Hey Nick.
"Not now Alex!" I yelled as I barely get my hand to squeeze the button.

Why? What's going on? She answers so calmly.
"Not now!" I yell as I jump underwater and look above as the shark swims towards me.  I was dead.  But a boat flies out of no where and completely demolished the shark.  Blood flies everywhere.  Guts and blood, but I've gotten used to it.  A hand extends to me as I get lifted onto the boat.  "Well hello there" A man I know says.  A man I knew, stood with a good chest, and I eyepatch from when I shot him.  "The General?" I said as he held a gun to my head.
