Fools

Will Solace was done. He was done pretending what he had with Nico Di Angelo was just sex.
And he was going to announce it to the entire camp.
At first loosing a bet to Cecil seemed like the end if the world. But after some negotiations, Will was able to pick his own song.
And so as Will Solace son of Apollo stood about to go on stage, he was 100% confident.

"Hey Piper, who's next?" I asked the daughter of Aphrodite sitting next to me.
"Ummm..." She paused looking at the list on the dry-erase board on the side of the stage. "Will!" She exclaims excitedly, smiling at everyone widely.
"What?! Will can't sing!" I exclaim.

"What?! Will can't sing!" Is all I hear before Kayla announces me.
"And now, the lucky number 7 to preform on the new stage, my brother Will Solace!"
Now usually I can't sing. But after many, many prayers to dear 'ol Dad, I'm considerably better. "Thanks Kayla, although I think you meant to say your favorite brother." The campers laugh. "When I lost my bet, at first I was scared. But now I have a plan." I said to the people. "Cue the music please."

I am tired of this place, I hope people change.
I hear gasps in the crowd, everyone knows I can't sing.
I need time to replace, what I gave away.

Okay, so maybe talking about alcohol in front of seven year olds wasn't the best idea. But you find some drink that ends with -ay.

Nico
My first thought: No, no, no. Will finally found someone who he actually wants to be with. Not you.
Until Will says a phrase I'll remember for the rest of my life. "That was for my crush." And everyone freaks out thinking it's them, then he adds. "The one and only, Nico Di Angelo." No, I can't have heard it right. A million heads turn to me.
Ok, I heard right.
People push me up onto the stage and Kayla, Will's sister hands me a mic.
"Well Solace, feeling bold are we?" I ask him. "A marriage proposal can't be far behind." I stage whisper to everyone.
"Well.." He asks nervously.
"Well what?" I ask.
"Will you go out with me?"
"Oh, well took ya long enough. It's been what three years? I've been waiting." I say sarcastically. "Hmm... Yes." I say nonchalantly.
"Y-yes!" He ask cautiously. I nod, biting my lip. "Umm.."
"C'mere." I sigh dropping the mic, I grab his shirt and turn my back from the crowd.
Well, that was that. The song was Fools by: Troye Sivan if you wanted to listen to it.
