A/N: My friends and I are obsessed with Alice in Wonderland so that is why I'm writing this. Please let me know what you think. Also I'm only putting certain spin on the original character's. The original characters (where I got some of their personalities and ideas for their appearance and personalities) go to Lewis Carrol.

A girl with blonde hair that went just below her shoulders was walking down the dark street. She was wearing black skinny jeans, black converse, and a black jacket. Her shirt was black with a silver skull in the middle with two silver axes sticking through it. She also had a silver necklace shaped like a key. (The picture above is the necklace pendent) There was little light that night since the moon was covered by ominous black clouds. The girl's light blue eyes were darting around the surrounding area attempting to take in all of the details at once. The sides of buildings, trash cans, the occasional car, street lamps, and the rare working street lamps was all that was visible. Not even the stars were brave enough to show themselves on this bleak night.
The scenery just put the girl on edge. She wasn't really scared by many things and had walked this path many times before, but something just wasn't right. Maybe it was the extra chill that was present in the air or the lack of light from the moon and stars, but something was making her hair stand on end. A gust of wind suddenly blew by and she pulled her black jacket even closer to herself.
Just then her eyes caught something. It was a small and white.... Something. Her brain was going crazy over it. One part known as Reason was saying, 'Get out of here you idiot before something bad happens! It could be a killer, a robber, or something worse!' The other part, Curiosity, told her, 'Come on, you know that you want to know what it is. Just go and look. You don't have to get too close just close enough to see what it is.' Reason told her, 'Oh yeah, and what when you figure out what it is? You'll want to know where it is going. Don't even try to lie to me you know you will.' She blocked the voices out before Curiosity could respond to the paranoid one.
She just had to know what it was. It was too much for her not to know. So she changed her course from the comfy apartment at the end of the block to a cold dark alleyway that led to a dense and.... Wait for it..... Dark, foggy forest. Eventually the most obvious thing happened..... She got lost in that very dense, extremely dark, very foggy forest.
She sighed and told herself, "I cannot believe that I got lost in the woods on a dark night because I followed a........ I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT!" She stomped off in a random direction looking angry until her foot found a hole. The hole seemed to have a gravitational pull of its own. It was a wonder that it wasn't devouring everything on this planet. It did, however, drag down that poor girl.
She stared up at the hole as a yelp escaped her lips. Up atop the hole was a boy with white hair, a white shirt, and a dark blue jacket. On the top of his head sat two white, floppy ears. They looked just like a rabbits. The girl's eyes then widened as a gasp of shock came out. She just continued to look up at the boy in confusion as she fell into perpetual darkness. Eventually the light emanating from hole was barely visible. Finally the only source of light in the black void, a small white dot coming from the hole, disappeared and there was only darkness around.
It has been what seemed like hours for the poor girl and she was still falling. All of this time though her mind has been very active barely even noticing the unnatural darkness surrounding her.
'I told you something bad would happen,' said her voice of reason.
'Yes, but know we know that it would have driven her even more insane if she didn't even see that it was a boy,' curiosity argued.
'He had rabbit ears,' the girl finally joined in the conversation.
'How about we just call that a hallucination," reason said trying to make some sense of the situation.
'Yes because falling through this hole is so not real,' the girl replied sarcastically.
'Come on Alice. You know she is just trying to help,' Curiosity defended her sister.
'Yeah, well, it doesn't help in this situation to have someone saying that this isn't real when it is happening right now,' she replied a little annoyed.
Curiosity was about to say something when light erupted all around them. A few seconds later Alice hit the ground, but it didn't feel like the ground. Her eyes adjusted to the light and looked around. There were giant yellow and red..... Mushrooms. The stems were stripped too.
The grass was green with purple splotches every now and then. There were also smaller, regular sized mushrooms: yellow with red polka dots, bright neon yellow, blue, and purple. There was also red and green stalks of something. Huge trees that had leaves that were green, red, purple, neon yellow, blue, and a swirl of some combination of those colors.
Finally she heard a muffled noise that sounded like, "Mhhhhhh..... Mhhh.....MMHHHHHH!"
Alice then looked down and saw a person. She got up and saw it was a guy. He had purple hair and almost glowing yellow eyes. He was about seven or eight inches taller than Alice but that wasn't very much of an accomplishment. Alice was short for her age or "vertically challenged" as she likes to say.
"Who are you?" the random guy asked.
"A person," she responded deciding to be a smart mouth.
Instead of glaring or making some angry comment like usual he got a big grin on his face and started to chuckle.
He then said, "Alright, then what is your name, Shorty?"
Alice balled her fists and yelled at him, "I AM NOT SHORT! I AM VERTICALLY CHALLENGED YOU STUPID PURPLE HAIRED, YELLOW EYED GIANT!"
He started to chuckle again and told her, "Whatever you say, Shorty."
"MY NAME IS NOT SHORTY YOU DUMBA**!" She yelled obviously ticked off. The sure fire way to get her angry is to comment on her height. She had gotten into fights about this so many times it isn't even funny.
"If you would tell me your name I would stop saying the 'S' word," he told her. She glared at him.
"My name is Alice," she told him muttering some very mean words afterwards.
"Now was that so hard Alice?," he asked in a tone that you would use with a child while pinching one of her cheeks.
"Get off of my face," She growled, "And to answer your question it depends. Now, what should I call you, Grape Ape?"
"This is how you should answer that question. My name is not Grape Ape, but I am the Cheshire Cat," he ended by giving her a ridiculously big smile like the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.
Alice got a this can't be happening look on her face and asked, "Where are we?"
"A forest," he responds.
"I mean what is this whole place called," she asked.
"What do you say?," he asked.
"Pineapple. Now where are we?," she asked a bit more forcefully this time.
"Fine, but the word was insane. We are in...... WONDERLAND!" he told her with his arms out to the side in a dramatic fashion.
'So my name is Alice and I fell down a black hole after I followed the Rabbit-boy. Then I met the Cheshire Cat in Wonderland. Also I have Tweedledee and Tweedledum in my head. Great, this is just perfect,' she thought to herself.
