Kissing Maya was the best feeling ever.
I finally realised why things never worked out with me and Lucas.

Because I didn't actually like him.

My mind kept telling me that boys had to like girls and vice versa, but I now know that's not true.

Me and Maya walked to my house, smiling at each other as we linked arms.
I caught a glimpse of Maya staring down at my lips, but then stare back at my eyes after noticing my glance.

"So, um, how ya' doin'?" Maya asked, nervously.
I laughed.
"Maya, we're finally open with each other, weren't you the one that told me not to act like that?"
She looked down at her feet.
"Sorry, it's just that... Well, I don't want this to go away."
I tilted my head in confusion.
"Why would it go away?" I asked.
She smiled, slowly untangling our arms and placing her hand in mine.
"Because usually these moments are dreams." She answered, her voice soft.
I smiled.
"This isn't a dream, Maya, I'm right here."
She smiled with me.

As soon as we got to my house, we immediately went to my room.
I sat at the bay window, patting the seat next to me.

We smiled like we were crazy.

I took Maya's hand.
"Peaches," I began.
"You act like you were the only one that was going through this," I continued.
"I wasn't?" She laughed.
"No, no you weren't. I was confused as well." I explained, giggling along.
Her eyes widened, making her bite her lip and slightly giggle, her posture lessening.
She quickly leaned in and kissed me, her hands placed on my shoulders.
Our lips were crashed together until Maya pulled away.

"You don't know how much I've hoped for those words"

I guess these chapters have been going on a routine of an "update once a week" sort of thing, sorry, I have to revise and think of what to put in, and that part passes time pretty fast.
See ya'!
