The Infection

Story Time.

AXEL's POV:

We all woke up within 9:00-10:00 A.M.

I got up and walked over to Allie and woke her up. then I walked over to a gun on the wall and got it.

"Alright time to move." Nico said.

once everyone gets a gun and was ready to go we all went to the roof and got off the building.

"Where to now?" Mitchell asked.

"I know exactly where to go but it's about a 2 hour drive." Gabriel said.

Gabriel walked to the parking lot and got on a bus he searched the glove department for the key. After about 5 minutes he found it.

"Lets go guys." He said then threw the keys in the air and caught it.

Everyone got on and Gabriel started the bus up.

I sat on the left side in the 4th seat. Gabriel drove on the road. I looked back.

"Hey guys we have zombies on all sides." I said then opened the back door. I pointed my shotgun at a zombie and pulled the trigger.

"Yo Gabriel can we go faster zombies are climbing all over the bus." Jake said.

"There's so much stuff on the road we have to go slow." Gabriel said.

I pulled the trigger again and another fell to the ground.

"Open the top!" Kristy commanded.

Renea but the butt of the gun up and smashed it into the hatchet on top and the hatchet fell off the bus. Kristy,Nico, and Mitchell got on the top of the bus.

"Alright guys now we are on open road!" Gabriel yelled.

I closed the back and laid down in seat.

"If you need me I'm going back to sleep!" I said.

after 30 minutes my eyes opened slowly and got up. When I got up I saw everyone on the bus lined up half naked except for Gabriel because he was driving and me Because I fell asleep.

"What's going on?" I asked trying to sound casual.

"It's raining." Nico said.

"So....?" I said.

"Rain is a portable shower Axel." Mitchell said.

"How'd you guys get shampoo and soap?" I asked.

"It was in a bag on the bus." Conner said.

"So are you going to shower?" Tyler asked.

"Yeah when you all go to sleep I don't feel comfortable being half naked around a whore." I said while pointing to Kristy.

"Are you sure?" Kristy said moving closer.

"Positive." I said then flipped over to the seat In front of me.

"So Gabriel when are we getting there?" I asked.

"Um... it's hard to say but maybe in one hour and 10 minutes." he guessed.

2 people got down from the top of the bus and the next 2 in line got on top of the bus.

"Guys look a gas station!" Gabriel yelled.

I got up and started walking towards the door. then Hailey stopped me.

"It's to dangerous to go out there alone." She said.

"Then lets go." I said.

we both got off the bus and walked to the gas station. I opened the door and went inside. I opened a fridge door and started putting water bottles in my bag. I heard yelling... I turned around and there were zombies all around the bus. Gabriel closed the doors then the bus started moving slowly.

"LETS GO!" I yelled to Hailey and I ran out the door trying to catch up with the bus. the back door bust open and Allie's hand was reaching out.

"Grab my hand." She said.

I started to run a little faster then I grabbed Allie's hand and she pulled me up on the bus.

"Thanks." I said gazing into her brown eyes.

"Hey guys remember there's more then just one." Gabriel said. he slowed the bus down even more and Hailey started to catch up.

"God damnit, Kristy take the wheel." Gabriel commanded then He ran to the back.

"Hailey just jump and grab my hand." Gabriel commanded.

she still kept running.

"LISTEN TO ME IF YOU DON'T YOU'LL DIE!" Gabriel yelled at Hailey.

Hailey jumped and grabbed Gabriel's hand. He pulled her up and ran back to the front. Kristy moved away and he sat back down.

"Here's your damn water you greedy bastards." Hailey said as she threw my bag on the bus floor. I reached over and closed the back door. it got quiet for a while then Gabriel said.

"Who wants to hear a story?"

we all looked at each other.

"It'll kill time till we get there." Jake said.

Gabriel cleared his voice and began to speak.

"There was once this Teenage boy who worked really hard day and night with a doctor. Then there was this girl that ended up on in the hospital The two fell deeply in love. 6 years later the boy turned 17 and the infection started right here in Germany. so the boy moved to The United States. After 3 months the infection was over so the girl and the boy moved back to Germany. Now after 5 months back in Germany the infection started again. He didnt want his Girlfriend to suffer so much because she had got the infection also. So he decided he'd kill her. so one night he....."

Gabriel's voice got angry sounding.

"He went into her room with a Knife and stabbed her right in the heart. After he did that he felt empty he started thinking and he thought he'd blow his brains out into the bay tonight. But instead he got on a boat back to the U.S. joined a great school. But little had he known he'd be back in Germany very soon."

Everyone got quiet.

"Aren't you just a fucking ray of sunshine." I said.

Gabriel laughed then he slowed the bus down and he made a right turn.

"We're here." Gabriel said. he walked off the bus and opened the door.
