Some people don't believe in other worlds, other dimensions, or anything they can't wrap their heads around. They only believe in things that seem logical to them. Things that they can see, feel, hear, taste, or smell. Anything else, they don't believe in. They just assume that if it's not right in front of them then it can't be true. Which can be a downfall for some people, because they think seeing is believing.
Then there are those types of people that do believe in the things they can't see. Things that they know are there, even if it can't be seen or felt. But they can hear it. In their souls, hearts, and mind they know it's there. Watching over us during the day when we're at work or school, even when we're asleep at night.
Do you ever wonder if there are dimensions? Realms? Worlds? Ever wonder what could be going on there? Maybe a war could be happening, or perhaps there could be a nice family of four having a picnic on a sunny Saturday afternoon, enjoying their day together.
How can we really know though? It's not like we can just go there. Maybe a higher power of that place could bring you there? Or people can just think you're crazy and wonder what's going on in that funny little brain of yours. It's not exactly a topic you would bring up in an everyday conversation.
Say there's not enough people in one dimension though, and they're split just like the Democratic and Republican parties (Or the labour and conservative parties for you Brits). So they draft people from another dimension based on their beliefs in this kind of stuff. They take people away from their world that they've grown up in, away from their family, friends, home. Would you say that's the right thing to do?
Put yourself in both places though, on one side we need people who will help us fight in this war if we are to win for what we believe is right. On the other side though, you are stripping people of their liberties and freedoms. What would they do if the person they drafted didn't want to fight for them? And just really wanted to go back home?
Lots of problems can occur if you take someone from their own world. Maybe their bodies won't be able to get used to a change in atmosphere? Their brains might not be able to comprehend what had happened to them? This list can go on and on with anything you could think of that may go wrong.
Now you may have to close your eyes to picture this one, but just imagine a beautiful place where everyone is happy, things are peaceful, there are no quarrels anywhere and everything is just so... perfect! But then chaos breaks loose when someone decides that it's not perfect enough and wants to defy their leader. Those peaceful times are now over as war rages. Families and friends are torn apart as their views are complete opposites.
Those beautiful roses you would always admire at the park are now covered in thorns. You no longer hear children laughing on the swing set, but a deathly silence. All of this happened because one person thought that this life wasn't good enough for them. They thought they deserved more, but that's what they always want right? More. More. And more.
You can only choose one side here. You can't be a pacifist now, those times are over. You can either join the side who loved the peace and harmony between people, the rush of the wind as they ran through the park with their friends! Or you can choose the side who thought that wasn't good enough for them. The ones who will never be satisfied with what they have, and will take all they can get, then go back for more.
So, which side will you choose?
