The girls decided to go to the hospital later that week when Jamie felt better.

When they arrived the doctors gave them sympathetic smiles as they passed. Elena was taken care of by many doctors, so almost all of the floor level knew of her condition.

Jesy was the first to break down crying in the small hospital room. It was day 4 of Elena's last few days of having any hope of survival.

The doctor's were sure that if she shown lower brain activity, she would die.

This was experimented with 7 other patients, all of which died within 2 minutes.

The girl's were sure Elena would be the 8th victim, although it was hard to think and say. They have also been planning her funeral, looking for the burial ground that her biological family was.

They've discovered her biological parents were still alive, but in prison of course. But they didn't know that her grandparents had passed.

They were buried in New Jersey. Far from where they were currently living, so they were trying to decide whether to move to New Jersey or to bury her near their current home instead.

It was a difficult decision indeed, but they knew they needed to prepare themselves. They wanted to make the pain come as little as possible.

Elena was all they had left and they didn't want her to be brought down by their sadness anymore. She was to innocent and young.

She's been through enough and they were supposed to protect her from sadness, fear, and all other negative emotions.

She was supposed to feel loved, cherished, and worth more than what her life had given her.

But, here they were, making her depressed and miserable.

Jamie didn't mind, she knew what her meaning in life was, to make these girls happy.

She was here to help them through darkness and times of war. And that was exactly what she was doing. But, the girls were pushing her away.

Jamie knew to stay with them no matter how much they tried to push her away. She knew this was the time that they needed her the most.

She was used to the hospital theme, she was used to watching people cry, she was used to watching as someone's world came down, she knew it all.

But what she wasn't used to was watching someone die.

Not even her biological mother was there when her dad died. Jamie had a rough past.

She was home alone at the age of 9 when her mother decided to go out to the local bar, trying to drink away the pain of her father being in the hospital, with cancer.

While at the bar, she was drunk when the hospital called, signaling his death.

She drove to the first place they had ever met, the children's park.

There she drank one last bottle, before hanging herself to the lowest tree branch.

Jamie got the call from police, checking to make sure she was home and safe.

They came and took her to the police station to explain. Then, they took her to a child's care unit, where she lived before she met the girls, and they adopted her.

It was a tragedy, Jamie could never forget.

It took time, but she accepted it. Everything in life is hard, but she knew she had her parents watching over her, and that she was blessed.

Jamie took Jesy into her arms and rubbed her back soothingly as she sobbed.

She watched as the other girls sat around her bedside and were gasping for air under all of the tears.

Their eyes were red, noses and cheeks were puffy. Their smiles hidden under frowns and hard cry's.

You could practically see the weaknesses in their eyes, the walls were shaking and the girls gentle souls were surely breaking.

This time there would be no fixing. Time wouldn't even heal the pain. This event would be a constant cut that bleed or caused extreme pain when touched.

And a cut left to bleed would get infected and lead to the ultimate price, death.
