~Chapter Seven~

Two weeks later!!!

Can't believe my brother was actually getting married, here I was waiting for to begin.
Kelcy was nowhere to be seen she and Austin couldn't stay in the same room without some awkward tension in the air.

It's weird cause Austin and Kelcy are not the kind to be all quite around each other. Something must have happened for that to happen.
"Places people" the wedding planner Mrs Burke yelled while snapping her fingers in the air. Everyone took their places.

As we walked down the aisle I notice Kelcy sitting in the back of the church it was weird since she was like family.
I smiled at my brother who gave me a thumbs up, as we took our places, we were now waiting on the bride to walked down.

Two minutes into the pianist playing his solo Amanda walked out, she looked beautiful but I notice her smile didn't reach her eyes; there wasn't a twinkle in her eyes. This was her wedding yet she was acting like a blushing bride, she didn't look happy.
Why?

She finally reach the alter and everyone grew quiet as the the minister cleared his throat "dearly beloved we gather here to join this man and woman in holy matrimony, who so ever object to this marriage say now or so ever whole their peace".

I looked around seeing everyone gazing at each other to see who would object but my gaze land on Kelcy's watery eyes.
Why was she crying!

She knew Austin loved Amanda that's why he was marrying her, she just got to leave with it. She just got to cut her losses and run like mom would always say.

The moment we were all waiting for when the I do's were being said. "Do you Amanda take....."

"I can't marry her"Austin said cutting off the minister. You can hear the gasps her from people and whispers from them looking around everybody had something to say. At this very moment my heart goes out to Amanda Holt since she was humiliated on the alter.

I never thought my brother would ever do such a thing. Amanda stood their like a brick wall; that couldn't be broken down, all I could see from where I was standing was the rise and fall of her chest as her tears flowed down her face ruining her makeup.

"Why me?" She yelled at Austin as everyone watched the two who was in a heated stare down. We all was waiting on his answer why did he shattered this girl dreams of being married.

Don't worry Amanda you will get married its just not today. Austin and Amanda have been together for five years and Austin finally popped the question, well, more like Amanda since she was always was on his back wanting to get married and have kids. Look where that got her!

Honestly, I loved the girl like if she is my sister but after Austin told me the real reason why they was getting married made me see her in a new light. She was just was another controlling bitch out to get my brother hard earn money. It was damn good thing he drop her ass while he could.

I mean I feel bad for her but she just need to suck it up and move the hell on.
"I don't love you" was his simple reply as he search the crowd whatever or whoever he was look for wasn't there his smile grew into a frown.

Okay! Someone tell me what's going on. Tell me because I have no clue what was going on . I am completely speechless it was then I saw it more like saw them.

Austin trying to talk Kelcy sho couldn't give two shits about him. Two weeks of just leaving on my own and everything came crashing down.

I confronted Kelcy and she told me about the night when I left. She told me she got drunk and she confess her undying love for Austin, which he brush it off as nothing. Right now he was pursuing her.

Say what, say what. Did I hear right did Austin just call off the wedding. That was just....
