Darkness that forever haunts our hearts
Forever pulling and tearing at our soul
Lost lights fading slowly being swallowed
Disappearing, eaten by the void.

A love once had but now is lost,
A heart once whole but now too cold.
The past forgotten,
A future in shadow.
The present continues
Even if we don't want to follow

My mind a blank
He made me hope
Made me dream
Now all I see
Is a empty me
He lied,
He played the game.
Now all that's left
Is a empty frame

My heart heavy
My soul weak
I leave my body
Rotting slowly
It eats me
I feel it biting
Taking me
Simply devouring
I sit there unmoving
Not fighting anymore
Losing my sanity
To this gore

One long since formed
Making me hunger
All the more
No longer longing
For the one who tossed away

Myself, long since buried away
I slowly wake up
Crack open my eyes
Let myself go
