I walked around the White Fang base eager to here what was going on. There were people gathered around Beacon and I wasn't sure if the White Fang had robbed a bank or anything like that. They did that sometimes. And sometimes I helped them. The past few days Roman and I have been busy planning along with Cinder what we should do next. I continued to walk now looking at the floor and ran into someone. I looked up and saw a boy there. He was much taller than me and he looked down to see who he had just ran into. He smiled as I took a step backwards. "Don't be scared. I'm not here to hurt you. Neo, right?" he asked still smiling. I nodded, "If you were here to hurt me I wouldn't be scared. I'm not weak." I replied quietly. He laughed, "Sorry, that came out wrong. Oh! My name is Laurence. Nice to meet you!" he said. "Nice to meet you" I said as I smiled.
"So you work with Cinder and the White Fang? Sounds fun. Beacon is fun too." he said to me. I looked at him suspiciously. "You're not worried that I'll tell Beacon about this place do you? Cause I won't." He gave me a cute smile so I couldn't help but smile back. "Don't talk much, huh? Cool with me. Guess then I'll have to do all the talking" He said happily. "First off, I was wondering. Would I be able to join your little 'group' with Cinder, Emerald, Mercury, and you?" I though about it. "Talk to Cinder about that. I'm not the one who will make the choice" I responded.
We found Cinder and they talked for a while, while I was talking with Roman. After they finished talking, I walked over to them. "How did it go?" I asked. "We will now be working together!" he practically yelled. I smiled and we walked away.
