Vikki's POV :

Chapter 64:

"Vikki." She cried through link.

My heart stopped hearing and feeling her being scared . I started back to the house as Jason took over the mission . I had to get to her.
She was in danger and my heart was beating for her .

I felt pain as my feet moved faster.

The guards outside where dead as I ran up the stairs hearing a baby crying .
Sara yelling and Melissa growling yet whimpering .

I went in and transformed .
Melissa was bleeding down her arm's. She has been bitten protecting and staying in her stance. What scared me was the blood on her shirt and scratched on her tummy. Not deep but there .

Let me out . My wolf said . I did.

I howled loudly and attacked the wolves. Melissa said where she was watching me as I killed the wolves one by one .

A wolf jumped on my back as I hit myself against the wall. Melissa grabbed one of the wolves and snapped it's neck. She was breathing heavy as she held her knee's.

I went back to human form and went over to her . I licked her wounds and examined her stomach.

"It's fine.. It will heal. I'll let Violet check though just-

I put my head against her's breathing in.
I heard the babies tint heart beat in her stomach. She was okay. Thank god.

I looked behind her at Sara and he baby boy.
Kyle ran in and froze.
Me and Melissa moved to the side as he stared at her .

He went over kneeling over his mate and baby.
He looked at Melissa .

"Thank you." He said to her .
She nodded .

She grabbed my hand and walked away. She stumbled as I caught her .
She sighed and stood up.

"You okay."

"Exhausted ." She said .

It happened so fast . Something hard hit me in the head as I fell to my knee's.
Melissa's screams made me look up in clouded vision.

Two male's stalked towards her as she screamed and ran away.

"J-Jason.. People .. Melissa.. Hurry"
I blacked out .

As I woke up Lark was holding me as I groaned . What the hell. My head was pounding .
I stood up straight .

"Hey . Calm movements . Violet said you have a concussion " he said .

"Where is she , where is Melissa."

He looked at me . I stood up and dashed to her scent . Allot of people were injured as other's worked on them.
Where is she!

I spotted people crowding something .
I ran over pushing them.
I saw Vincent , his head bleeding and a broken foot .

He saw me .

"Are you okay" I said looking at his head .
He nodded .

"I went after mom. They attacked me ."

"Where is she .."

He pointed to the infirmary. I walked off but he grabbed me .
"They.. They almost-

I ran off and through the doors. Melissa was sitting on the bed. Knee's to her chest as she stared .

Violet approached me.
"Small movements . She is shock."
