Fortunately, it's extremely dark outside, so he can't see my face. Before I came to my tree, I wiped off all the blood in the public bathrooms.

"Arizona?" His voice was raspy.

"Uh, hi." I wasn't expecting anyone to come to the park this late. "What are you doing here?"

"I always take a walk here whenever I don't want to be at my house," I think he was trying to look in my eyes, but it was too dark. "What are you doing here?"

I didn't know what to say, "Uh I-I'm just sitting here, its a b-beautiful night."

Nice, he's definitely going to believe that.

I ignored the voice in my head and waited for an answer, but he just smirked and sat down with me.

"You know, it's really humid outside and there are clouds everywhere, you can't even see the stars. That's your definition of beautiful?" My eyes widened and I turned to see him smiling.

He was just joking, calm down retard.

"Shut up." I told myself.

"Sorry." Elliot said, looking hurt. I didn't mean to tell him that!

"No, I wasn't talking to you." I replied immediately.

"Um, there isn't anyone else here."

Way to go.

"Oh, right. I was just talking to myself." I sound so stupid. I don't even know the guy, why do I care?

"Okay," He seemed uncomfortable.

Well duh, you just told him you were talking to yourself.

Silence filled the air for a couple minutes.

"So," He started, "I don't really know you, so lets play a game." He smiled.

I laughed, "What do you want to play?"

"20 questions, what's you favorite color?"

"Orange, you?"

"Green, what's your favorite book?"

"The Fault In Our Stars, you?

"I don't read, I can never get into the books."

"Well I guess you never picked up the right book."

He looked at me even though it was pitch black outside. He got up and held his hand out, "Come on, lets go for a walk."

I grabbed his hand and got up from the tree, "I know exactly where to go."

He smiled, "Lead the way."

I started walking and realization hit me. What was I doing? I was about to take him to my secret place only me and my brothers know of. What was I thinking?

You weren't.

I have to come up with an excuse to not go there. "You know, it's actually a pretty long walk to get there, we can just walk around if you'd like."

He turned, "No, it seems like that place we are going to sounds nice, I wouldn't mind the walk."

Damn it, I thought to myself. I can't believe I am taking him there how can I be so stu-

"Which way do we go?" He asked, interrupting my thoughts. I was confused for a second then realized we were at the point where we have to turn. This is it. I'm actually showing him my secret hideout.

"Um, we go straight," I stuttered.

"What, there's only left or right."

"Yeah, and we go straight," I said walking and jumping over the bushes. I could tell he wasn't following me so I yelled, "You coming?"
