Analyn Reyes is the smart girl with the good grades. Gabe De Guzman on the other hand is a boy who's popular and really talented. Analyn is smart and Gabe is kind of a idiot. He needs at least a C+ to pass Chemistry. And smartest kid in that class is Analyn. They both kinda hate each other, but Gabe still has those few feelings for her. For Analyn, it's pure hatred. She can't even stand him.
The story behind their hatred is that before high school, they were best friends. They couldn't be separated. Ever since Gabe got all the attention, it had seemed that he forgot about Analyn. Analyn had always stayed in his shadows. She's always been happy for him. She could fall for him but how can she when they've had a rough past.
This isn't the story where the girl falls for the boy. It's the story where she doesn't want to fall in love with him so she can get screwed over. He falls in love with her and realizes what he's done to her. He knows he made a mistake, but you can't take back what you said. Gabe just wants her to open up to him. He wants her to trust him again. All he wants is the key to her heart.
