[FlashBack]
I stepped on my special high stool and looked at my self in the mirror. My warm skin had caught a tan from all the playing outside. I admired my freckles mommy always said she loved. I tried counting them but there were too many and I only knew how to count to 20 but sometimes I jumbled it up. I grabbed my little brush and ran it trough my waist-length hair. The same as mommy's. Suddenly I heard a loud bang, followed by the voices of my parents.
''Mommy'' I cried.
she never came.
''Daddy''
he never came.
I walked to my room and grabbed my favorite things and put them in a bag. I went in bed and fell asleep, with my favorite things comforting me. I felt my door fly open and peered at a smiley caramel colored woman.
'hey sweetie' I stared at her with my big hazel orbs. She picked me up and carried my little bag. She carried me past my parents, lying on the floor drenched in blood.
''MOMMY, DADDY'' I screamed. ''WAKE UP PLEASE''
''sweetie they are dead'' she said soothingly.
These words shattered me. I cried and cried. Until I fell asleep. I woke up in a new room with some of my things inside. Little did I know this was my new home, and that smiley woman was gone.
[End of flashback]
I was having that nightmare again. Thank God it was sunday. I didn't want to start my day with a bad nightmare.
