We learned about stars in science class today. How they are born, how they live, and how they die and it got me thinking
A star spends it's whole life producing energy for others benifit.
Their sole purpose is to keep others alive while they slowly die.
And I related to those stars.
I related to the way that everything the star did was not for itself, but for others. I related to the way nobody cares when a star dies because there are other stars ready to do the same job.
In this world, too many people are stars.
Too many people give everything they have to someone who doesn't notice they are slowly dying. Too many people are born, live, and die focusing on someone else's life and happiness over their own.
Like the sole purpose they are alive for is to please and focus on someone else.
So I sat there on my bed, thinking about stars and I looked out my window and I realized,
Stars are beautiful.
They light up the night sky, shining light down to us and it reeflecting off the cold snow, making it glisten.
So maybe you give everything you have to someone who doesn't notice. As long as there is that one person that looks at you and see's the beauty in you, inside and out, the beauty in what you do to help others, and can be there to be a star when you need it most,
what else matters?
