His face appeared on the screen. She smiled in joy, heart warming at the very sight of him. He smiled back, but this time it looked fake. She could see the dark look on his face, or the red around his eyes. He was done and she knew it. She knew how broken he truly was despite the mask he hides behind for other people. He shows his real face to her though. He was so in love with her and she was so in love with him. But time was ticking.

"Hey, Baby," he let's out a cracked whisper and smiles sadly at her before a tear slips.

"H-hey," her broken voice replies back. She imedietly burst into tears knowing what's about to come.

"A-Alex baby, don't cry. Your to perfect for sadness," he says and a few more tears slip from his eyes. He couldn't express how much he loved this girl. He loved her more than life itself, more than anything itself and he couldn't stand hurting her. Every tear she shed it only shattered his heart more. He couldn't stand himself at the moment, for what he was about to do would brake her like there's no tomorrow, but he didn't have a choice. This was his time. This was his goodbye.

"J-Jace please don't," she sobbed out and looked at him pleadingly. Jace sobbed and looked away, no longer being able to look at what he was doing to her. He was hurting his precious Alex. He was hurting his poor love. He hated himself so much, so, so, so much right now.

"B-baby...you know I can't stay," he sobbed and looked at her.

"I know just-," she was trying to figure out what to say to make him stay, but it was no use, she was to panicked. She couldn't think.

"I fucking love you so much. You have no idea baby girl, you have no fucking idea. I want to stay in this world with you for eternity, love. I want to hold you in my arms and kiss you and never let you go. I can't express my feelings towards you, just know that I love you, okay?"

She nodded and smiled at his words but still continued to cry, and so did he.

"I love you so very fucking much Jacy," she said using the nickname she always called him by. She knew she couldn't stop him no matter what she said, so she let him be happy. She let him go.

He smiled at her once more and closed his eyes, mouthing an, "I love you". And just like that the Skype chat closed and everything began to fall apart...
