Just a regular 13 year old, that's who I was. Just a few years later I reached fame...

A regular day at home being lazy as always, until I signed into You tube. Searching up funny video is my favorite thing to do on it but today I felt strangely different. My heart told me to check out covers made by non-discovered singers. I don't get it? Their way better than the singers we have now, why don't they just get discovered?

My curiosity got the best of me so I searched out "how do we get discovered?" A clicked on the first result and it took more effort and determination than I thought. Some people sacrifice their whole future to get a park time job at Starbucks while auditioning for roles. The thing that i found the most interesting was that people have this vision that stardom just come as it was served on a plate but reality they work hard for it, also people say they want to get discovered but don't go through with it.

That night I spent it on searching for auditions in Vancouver and I was surprised that I actually found one and it was for George Clooney new film "Tomorrowland", they're casting extras to be on the scene so I thought why not start small? I took my Grade 8 head shot and printed out a resume that had the Have you got any experience?, How old are you?, Are you under 18?, and that kind of questions. I was a smiling idiot next morning because my sisters, yes I said sisters, I have 3!

"Why are smiling like your crush just said he liked you back?" she asked in a snotty tone.

"Oh nothing just excited for breakfast as usual, but we all know that at least someone can like me, unlike you" I said teasingly than dashed downstairs before the fight could escalate.

"Good morning mommy" I said cheerfully to my bipolar mother, I'm joking she's not bipolar but boy her mood swings says differently.

"Morning" she replied in a pissed tone. What did I do, I just came down to say good morning? Suddenly my eye caught my mom moving her head side way as If she was trying to say something. So I followed her head and looked side way and saw my dad...I hate him.

"Morning dad" I said in a monotone voice. I hate him, excalation mark!

"Morning Vanessa" he said with a loving smile but that was the opposite of who he is.

I grabbed a granola bar and a glass of milk than headed upstairs to get my sneakers.

"I'm off to go run, bye" I said to nobody certain just letting them know. I jogged to the mail box and put the envelope inside, this is it...
