Chapter 2

Harry’s POV

I am watching TV. My brother is in his bedroom doing his homework and studying. My parents are on a business trip, so I and Marcel are alone. After dinner I had nothing to do so I decided to go to Lauren’s house. Lauren is my ‘girlfriend’. I didn’t like to use the word ‘girlfriend’. I sent her a message and she said that her parents went out for dinner. Perfect.

“I am going to Lauren’s house” I inform Marcel.

“But mom and dad said that we couldn’t leave the house.”

“I don’t care. I’m bored here. Bye.” I leave home and go to Lauren’s house.

Marcel’s POV

After doing my homework I go to the kitchen and have dinner. Harry left home and went to Lauren’s house. I don't like Lauren. She is always so mean and she thinks she runs the world or something like that. She is bossy but she is popular so everybody likes her. I am the opposite. I'm not popular. In fact I don't have friends. People are always calling me ‘nerd’. I study a lot and have good grades but I have no social life. My parents are always busy with their works so I can't talk to them either.

I wake up and I have a shower, get dressed and have breakfast. It's 8.30 and our classes started at 9 and I don't know why Harry isn't here in the kitchen. I go to his bedroom and see him sleeping in his bed.

“Harry wake up. You’re late”

He slowly starts to open his eyes and when he saw me in his bedroom he got furious.

“I already told you a million of times to not enter in my bedroom” He says furious.

“Sorry, but you will be late to the first class”

“I don’t want to go to the first class. I’m tired. Now leave.”

I go to school. I saw Sarah, the most popular girl in my school in the hallway. She is with her typical group of friends. I bump into someone and when I look to see who is the person I see the most beautiful girl. She has blonde hair, blue eyes and she looks like an angel.

“Are you okay?” She asks

“Yes, I’m fine.”

“Sorry, I didn’t see you.”

“It’s okay” She smiles and I feel like I am in Heaven. Then Sarah shows up and takes her away from me.

The bell rings and I go to my classroom. I sit in the first desk as always.

It's lunch time and I am having lunch alone. I am eating my sandwich and suddenly I see the girl again. She is so perfect. I don't recognize her from Sarah’s group but she is with them a lot of time.

“Hey nerdy” My brother called me. He sits next to me. “I have a pair work with Lauren so you’ll do it for us.”

“But it’s your work”

“Yeah but we don’t want to do it. See you later nerdy.”

After lunch I go to the library. I have a lot of work to do!

Emma’s POV

“Hey do you wanna go to the cinema this afternoon?” Sarah invites me.

“No I can’t. I have lots of Math homework to do. Sorry. Maybe next time.”

“Okay, see you later”

“Bye”

I go to the library. I start looking for Maths’ books. I pick a book and searched for an empty table. I didn't see a schoolbag on the floor so I tripped. I thought I was going to fall but then someone holds me. It is the guy I bumped in the morning.

“Thank you. I’m always falling.” I smile. He looked embarrassed and doesn't say anything. He is about to leaving but then he turns around when I start talking again. “Could you help me? I don’t understand Math and I was wondering if you could help me.”

“M-Me?” He asks..

“Yeah” I smile.

“Okay, I’ll help you” He smiles back.

“Oh, I’m Emma by the way”

“I’m Marcel”

He helps me with my homework and explains me everything.

“Thank you” I hug him but he doesn't react. He is very nice, he is a kind boy. He is shy and very intelligent. I start to leave but I turned around again. “Do you wanna go to the cinema tonight?” He doesn't say anything he just looks at me with a surprised face. “Please”

“I don’t know, I have a lot of work to do.”

“C’mon. Let’s have fun. Please come with me.”

“O-Okay” He's shy again and it's really cute.

“Yeah. At the cinema, 10 o’clock. See you later.”

I go home and I have dinner. After dinner I go to the mall.

10 pm

I am at the cinema’s entrance waiting for Marcel. Then I see him and wave.

“Hi!” I greet him.

“Hello!”

“Let’s go?”

“Yeah”

We see a comedy movie. We laughed a lot and I think Marcel had a great time.

“Thanks for inviting me. I had fun.” He says.

“You’re welcome. It was really funny. We should do this more times.” He smiles. I kiss his cheek and go home.

Marcel’s POV

That was the best night of my life. I can't believe that I went on a date with a very cute girl. Emma is so kind and she is funny. I had a great time. I open the door and I see Harry.

“Where is my work?” he asked angrily.

“I didn’t do it”

“And why?”

“Because I wasn’t at home.”

“Where were you?

“I went to the cinema”

“You?” He starts to laugh. I go to my room. He ruined my night. My perfect night.
