Halloween

It's not Halloween but yeah!

It was Halloween in the cul-de-sac, but you had to babysit your cousins. Meaning, no trick or treating for you. All you did was watch them get candy while you just watched.

"Hey (y/n), you're not trick or treating? Your friends asked.

"Um, no. I'm babysitting tonight." You explained with a frown.

"That's like, totally not fair." Inquired Nazz. Everyone nodding in agreement. You shrug and move along as your cousins' demand going to another house.

"Catch you guys later." You waved.

~Time Skip~

You are now back at your house, your cousins arguing about who got the most candy and what not. You were about to tell them to go to bed as you were beginning to get a splitting headache but decided not to. You then heard a knock on the door, curious, you went over to see who it was. Behind the door was all your friends.

"Hey guys, what up?" you asked. Wondering why they were there, not that you were complaining.

"We felt bad so we decided to do something with you." Nazz smiled.

"Thanks guys, but you didn't have to do that. Honest." You say. Touched at the idea that they thought of you. You stepped aside as the piled inside. Double D gave you a smile as he came. Man, he was a cute germ/bacteria (whatever it was). Yeah, you kinda had a pretty big crush on him.

Your cousins went to bed and the 'party' was on a full swing. Well, it was a party since Eddy said it was. You smiled as you saw everyone having a great time. You went around the back to get some air, and looking up into the night.

"There you are, I finally found you." Spoke a voice. You turned and found Edd. The germ/bacteria costume now gone.

"Hi, D. What's up?" You greeted with a smile. Your heart was thumping rather loudly.

"Not much, just wanted to get some air too..." he said all too suddenly. Hmm.

"Right, well thanks again. I really appreciate what you guys did for me." You thanked.

"No problem. It was my idea to be precise. Of course everyone agreed. But yeah, you know the rest." He shyly looked away suddenly. You were full of emotion you couldn't help yourself. You walked over and kissed the genius on the cheek. You both blushed as you pulled away.

"W-What was that for?" His voice squeaked.

"For being so sweet. No one has ever done that for me. Taking the liberty to hang with me." You smiled.

"I, I mean 'we' would have been here sooner. But Eddy insisted on finishing first." He getting a little frustrated at this and you thought it was rather adorable. You positioned him so he was looking at you and placed your lips atop his.

"I've wanted to say I like you for the longest time, D. I just didn't know how to say it." You chewed your lip, looking away in embarrassment.

"I know feelings and this emotion stuff is hokey pokey, but I admit I have a rather infatuation to you too. In other words, I like you too." He gave a gentle, nervous smile.

"So um, do you maybe want to study for next week's test? We could read through and go over notes together. If you want, that is." He blurbed.

"Are you asking me out on a study date Mr. Eddward?" you giggled. He scratched the back of his neck and slowly nodded.

"I would love too." You smiled.
