Bye Bye Bella

Cheer Practice

                     My best friend was Bella Marie Jennings. Oh, I'm Jen BTW. so, lets get started.

     It was August nineteenth two thousand  thirteen.We were sixteen. Bella and I were on our way to cheer practice. It was the day we found out our positions for stunts. Bella wanted to be Head Flier so badly.        

     When we got to practice we immediately saw Kim Perfect, actually her name is Kim Paniloa, but everyone calls her Kim Perfect. Anyway she was up in a liberty stunt,as always. She was up there with her long blond hair and over excessive makeup grinning like she was better than everyone else. I think she is a total show-off.

     Bella asked us to put her up in a stunt. So, we got in position. Bella was the kind of person that was very competitive. We had her about a fourth of the way up before Coach Kelly told it was time to start practicing. We put her down and went to warm up. Kim looked back at us as she ran over to the rest of the squad. She had one of those snotty smiles that you give to someone that you hate. Except it wasn't just a smile to someone you hate it was the smile of a demon.

     We did our usual warm-up, then Coach Kelly announced our positions. May and I were tumblers, Josie and Hanna were side fliers. Savannah, Sara, Alice, Mia, Danielle, and Brittney were bases. Kim was... Head flier. Bella, Jessie, and Riley were back-spotters. Bella was devastated.

     On the way home all Bella could talk about was how she was too fat to be a flier. She said things like, "I'm too fat!", "I need to lose weight". I couldn't listen to her say that so I turned up the radio just enough to not hear any longer.But, of course she turned it back down again. 

     That night she called me bawling. It was about eleven thirty, I was surprised she called me considering the fact that our favorite show, "Love Lust or Run" was on. Usually she hates being interrupted while she is watching our show.  I could barely understand her through all the crying .All I got out of it was, "Jayden Hvdtyfujhytgyuftygfdty me yhbvyfyh Kim." If I had to guess she said, "Jayden broke up with me for Kim". Since I could barely understand her, I just told her it was going to be okay.

    You already know who Kim, so I guess I should tell you who Jayden is. He was Bella's Boyfriend. He was the Quarterback of our school football team. He had light brown hair and was a jerk I never liked him, but I never said anything to Bella because she liked him.
