Chapter 8| Preparation

Grace's POV

'No you fucker get up! I made breakfast.' I said as I pulled his leg off of the couch.

After I mentioned food he shot right up and bolted up stairs. I walked up stairs to see my mom talking to the guys and Syd.

'So did y'all have a pretty wild night?' My mom had asked.

'It wasn't wild but it was fun.' Hunter said.

My mom looked at me,'Well it's about time you got up Grace your friends have been waiting!'

I looked at her and then Syd,' Are you fucking kidding me?! Who took credit for the pancakes?!' I said kinda chuckling.

'Well I mean I am a chef.' Mark said with his hand on his hip.

'do you wanna fight Mark Thomas? cause I will whoop your ass.' I said holding up my fists.

'I'll let you win.' Mark said.

I jumped on him taking him to the ground, pinning him down.

'You'll let me win, aye?' I said raising my eye brow standing up.

'Hey no fair I wasn't ready.' He said putting his hands up.

I raised my eye brow as everybody yelled 'HE WASN'T READY'
'See now I'm re-' he said before I interrupted him by tackling him. He was pinned to the ground, I was an inch away from his face. 'Oh really?'

I got off him and helped him up, 'How about a rematch later, Thomas.' I said shaking his hands.

'I'll beat you, but sure.' He said laughing.

After we all ate breakfast the boys decided to go home.

'Hey, what are you doing tonight?' Bryce asked me grabbing my hand.

I looked back at my mom and she smiled,' Nothing, Probably just sitting at home.'

'Would you like to go out to dinner with me?' He said smiling.

'I would love too.' I looked at him,'What should I wear?'

'Wear anything that you're comfortable in princess. I should go, your Über will be here at 6:30.' He said walking out the door leaving a lingering peck on my nose and forehead.

After he left my mom and Syd ran and jumped on me.
'What the hell are you guys doing?! Get off of me!' I said laughing

'We have to get you ready! Come on we are going shopping! Girls go shower and don't put any makeup on and don't do your hair!!' My mom said running around.

Me and Syd went upstairs to my bathroom and I showered.

I put on my high waisted jeans and a 'baby girl' crop top and my white converse. I barely ran a brush through my hair and left it wet.

I let Syd borrow some clothes and we went down stairs.

My mom was standing with the keys and her cup of coffee, 'Finally!! Come on! We have shopping to do!'

'Why are you so excited?' I asked laughing, while buckling my seat belt.

She sat down in the driver seat, 'It's my only daughters first date. It's special.'

'Mom, I'm your only child.' I said laughing.

'Exactly! Now plug in the AUX cord, we are going to the mall!' said my mom.

As we pulled into the mall, my mom asked,'What store?'

'FOREVER 21' Syd and I both screamed and then laughed.

'Then Forever 21 it is.' My mom said parking

We walked into Forever 21 to see Bryce with his mom looking at clothes.

'What the hell is he doing here?' I said laughing.

'Maybe he's picking out clothes for you, AWHHHHH' Syd said.

He turned around, waved and hid the clothes in his hands.
