A WOLFS WARZONE

CHAPTER ONE:

THE WAR CRY

The freash scent of the kill, still lingering in the bright lit night . This, of course was very rare to our stormwelds pack. Every hunt was a 1% chance of getting a well deserved meal. Every member gathered around the freash meal staring at it hungerly licking their lips ready to dive in and eat. But, we the Stormwelds did not do that silly blood thrist for a meal. We simply gave everyone a chance to eat, as our leader, Cloudsday had gotten the rule out to all wolf packs, we do not know how but it is one of his great tricks that we all praise.

I stared at the stary night with the moon, just a slither showing off its beauty. I looked at the stone legde where our leaders were striding along side by side, their fur almost shining as bright as the night. The female, Stormsworth, barked calmly making everyone quiet while shuffling around uncomfortalbly on the mossy ground. Stormsworth looked at Cloudsday, letting him speak to his royal pack. He skimmed his eyes amoung us, making sure we were all listening. He cleared his throat. "We dont know how lucky we have it here, we ourselves are grey wolves, am I right?"

We all nodded our heads, just wanting to start the meal. "But thats a whole new story, so with that lets seek the mothers and pups, eat as you may. But stay, and wait for the ceremony.

I looked around at the adult wolves, but my mother nudges me along with her nostrils. I trugded along until i caught the sight of my friend, my only friend. I sat beside her flicking my tails against hers. She looked at me, i whispered "Hey Stormseye, has your father came back yet?" she looked sad but just shook her head not saying a single word. I dived into the elk, with blood over my muzzel I was satistfied and went trotting over to Stormseye who was walking away.
